In short, this refers to the idea that once Guests have stepped foot onto Disney property, they’ve been transported to another world.
While Walt Disney World Resort’s Disney Bubble is especially noticeable given how much bigger the property is than Disneyland Resort, fans who have visited both often say that Disneyland makes up for this with a better sense of Disney magic.
However, the Disney magic can easily be shattered and ruined by the harsh realities of visiting tourist attractions: pick-pocketing.
One anonymous Guest recently shared an experience they’ve had while visiting Disneyland Resort, warning others to beware of theft and not to let one’s guard down even when visiting a Disney Resort.
While visiting Downtown Disney, this Guests stated that they’ve been pick-pocketed outside of the Disney area. They also warn of a specific trick scammers and thieves may use: “People outside also like to ask what time it is and steal your phone.”
As a result of this theft, the anonymous Guest states that they no longer walk back to their Disney Resort hotel. Instead, they always take advantage of the Disney transportation, such as a shuttle or a bus.
Unfortunately, even the Happiest Place on Earth is not immune to acts of stealing.
That being said, the Guest goes on to assure readers that they’ve never felt unsafe once inside Disneyland Resort or the Downtown Disney area.
Still, even when visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, it’s always a good idea to remain aware of one’s surroundings.
