EPCOT’s ‘Moana’-Inspired Attraction Construction Continues

Moana Inspired Attraction

“Make way, make way!” EPCOT’s transformation is well underway. The new four neighborhood transformation is unfolding as we watch the development of the new World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature, while we continue to enjoy the World Showcase. And now, we’re seeing new photos that provide a look at the highly-anticipated Moana-inspired attraction.

Disney has said, a new Moana attraction called “Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” will be the “first-ever experience based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios hit film, “Moana,” will allow EPCOT Guests to interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.” The only image we have thus far is the concept art below:

The Walt Disney World Resort attraction will be located in the new World Nature portion of the Disney Park which is “dedicated to understanding and preserving the beauty, awe, and balance of the natural world.” Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will offer a lush exploration trail that invites Guests to meet and play with magical, living water. Just like Moana’s friend the ocean, water will have a personality of its own, helping Guests learn how to protect the natural water cycle in a fun and engaging way.
