Complimenting Disney’s incredible Cast Members is one of our very favorite ways to share a little bit of pixie dust back with a Cast Member that has made our day. Now, Disney has listened and finally updated the Mobile Cast Compliment feature in the best way!

It wasn’t long ago that Walt Disney World Resort revealed they were adding a Cast Compliment option into the My Disney Experience App. This was a chance to let Disney know about a special moment with a Cast Member.
Unfortunately, the feature was somewhat a disappointment. When entering the Cast Compliment Guests weren’t able to list the actual name of the Cast Member, but instead, just list the department he or she worked in along with the date. Now, that’s all changing!

As of February 15, 2022, Disney fans can now submit an individual Cast Member complimentary by providing the first name and hometown listed on the Cast Member name tags. Even better, when you submit the Cast Member compliment that Cast Member will be alerted, along with their leader!
Compliments are super easy to submit. To access Mobile Cast Compliment, search “Cast Compliment” in the My Disney Experience mobile app (you’ll also find it in a few other parts of the app). Then follow along with the steps, filling out your Cast Member compliment as you go.
