Pause for a moment and grab the tissues! Disney has released its 2022 Christmas Advert titled “The Gift,” and we are feeling the holiday magic.
While it may be early November, the Disney Parks have already removed all signs of fall decor, including pumpkins and spooky sightings. As fans know, Disney is always eager to roll out the festive season with all sorts of jolly experiences, food, merchandise, and holiday cheer.
Now, Disney has introduced its 2022 Disney Christmas Ad that is the final chapter of the series “From Our Family To Yours.” The story began in 2020 as a way for Disney to show support for its long-standing charity partner, Make-A-Wish. Check out the series below.
2020 -“From Our Family to Yours”
The 2020 ad is titled “From Our Family to Yours,” and features Lola and her granddaughter sharing their love of Disney and Christmas crafting. Over time their yearly ritual of making star lanterns begins to fade away.
Looking back into Lola’s past and seeing her grandmother’s much-loved Mickey Mouse inspires her granddaughter to create a festive surprise that lights up her Christmas morning and renews their special bond. Check out the clip below:
2021 – “The Stepdad”
The story continued in 2021 with “The Stepdad.” The ad follows Nicole (the granddaughter of Lola) who is now all grown up. She now has two children, Max and Ella.
Their new stepdad, Mike, moves into their family home. At the heart of the story is a very special storybook – a precious item belonging to Max from his birth father.
2022 – “The Gift”
And now, Disney has released a new ad which is the final chapter of the story called “The Gift.“
Disney UK notes, “Nicole and her family are preparing to welcome a special new addition… but not everyone is ready for things to change. This heart-warming story celebrates the magic and joy of family, festive traditions and creating new memories. We hope you enjoy this special Christmas video, From Our Family to Yours.”
This is beautiful! The song, “A Little More” was performed by Jessica Darrow and written by Parkwild, Sofia Quinn, and Rose Tan.
We can’t help but think of all the family traditions that are experienced both at home and in the Parks that surround similar Disney gifts and moments. Happy holidays, Disney fans!
