An Interactive and Immersive Journey Through New Orleans

Debuting on March 7, 2026, at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Tiana’s Joyful Celebration is set to give guests a firsthand experience of Tiana’s magical world. The exhibition will transport visitors to the heart of New Orleans, where they will be surrounded by the rich culture, music, and food that define the city. The immersive exhibit follows Tiana as she prepares for a grand parade in her childhood neighborhood. With the help of her friends and critters, Tiana is determined to make the parade an unforgettable event, but things take a turn when her timeslot is moved up, leaving her and her community scrambling to finish the preparations.

Visitors will have the chance to contribute to Tiana’s efforts, helping with decorations, costumes, music, and even food—bringing their own unique “special spice” to the celebration. The experience emphasizes the values of teamwork, creativity, and community that are central to Tiana’s story, and guests are encouraged to be a part of this process.

A Nationwide Tour in 2027

After its launch in Indianapolis, Tiana’s Joyful Celebration will embark on a nationwide tour, visiting 12 U.S. cities beginning in 2027. This tour allows families and Disney fans across the country to experience the magic and cultural celebration of Princess Tiana in a way that was previously only available in the theme parks.

The Tiana’s Joyful Celebration exhibit is a natural extension of the character’s presence at Disney parks, complementing the recent launch of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort in 2025. Both the exhibit and the ride highlight themes of community, creativity, and cultural appreciation, reinforcing Tiana’s character while providing a multi-dimensional experience for fans of all ages.

Celebrating Culture and Creativity Through Collaboration

By joining forces with The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, WDI aims to create a meaningful, interactive experience that not only celebrates Tiana’s journey but also showcases the rich cultural heritage of New Orleans. The exhibit combines Disney’s beloved storytelling with educational elements, making it both entertaining and informative.

The nationwide tour will give guests the chance to explore the music, traditions, and Mardi Gras spirit of New Orleans, providing an enriching and vibrant cultural experience. With a fun-filled exhibition that highlights the power of creativity and community, Tiana’s Joyful Celebration is poised to become a highlight of Disney’s educational and immersive experiences for years to come.
