Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened at Disneyland Park in November 2024, five months after its predecessor at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park. The retheme invites guests to join Princess Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), Mama Odie (Jenifer Lewis), Louis (Michael-Leon Wooley), and Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos) on a musical journey through New Orleans-style festivities inspired by The Princess and the Frog (2009).
But Stitch didn’t just enjoy Tiana’s Bayou Adventure during his visit to Disneyland Park! He also showcased some of Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebrations. From now until summer 2026, Southern California Disney Park guests can enjoy new entertainment options such as the “Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” featuring Duffy and ShellieMay, the “Tapestry of Happiness” projection show, and the interactive “World of Color Happiness!” nighttime spectacular. Returning favorites like Paint the Night, the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” parade, and Wondrous Journeys fireworks are also lighting up the Disney parks.
July 17 will mark Disneyland Park’s official 70th birthday, with special events including the debut of the final song verse from the Sherman brothers on ” it’s a small world” and the debut of “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” at the Main Street Opera House. The show features the first-ever Walt Disney audio-animatronic.
For those wanting to take the magic home, Disneyland70-themed merchandise and exclusive food and beverages are available throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney.
