“Ghosts of Gideon’s” Gains Internet Following

Gideon’s Bakehouse is a renowned bakery that has captured the hearts and taste buds of many with its decadent treats. Located in Disney Springs, this bakery is considered a must-visit for many Disney regulars.

While the business seemed pleasant on the outside, recent reports from employees have shared a much more disturbing side of things. Last night, an Instagram account entitled @ghostsofgideons shared its first public statement alleging harsh and unsanitary work conditions at the store. The letter opens, saying:

“There is an odor most foul in the Bakehouse. It is the stench of the fish rotting from the head.
To our proprietor Steve, and our managers Bryan and Patrick:
There is dissension within the ranks, and if the following items are not resolved as we outline below, we’re prepared to drag this house of cards to the ground.
Before we proceed with our grievances, numerous and shocking, and the demands to resolve them; allow us a moment for introductions.
We, are the Ghosts of Gideons, the poor and unfortunate souls upon whom you have built your cookie empire. We are the many, the unseen, and as of the disastrous meeting May 6th, 2024, the decidedly unheard.”

Disney fans were instantly taken aback by these intense claims. Many fans took to social media to air their personal opinions and information about the situation.

Ex-Employee Makes Shocking New Claim

In a more recent post by the Ghosts of Gideon’s, the describe the working atmosphere of the cookie shop to be akin to a “police state.” In the midst of all these accusations, a former employee has added another element of drama by bringing in their own claims against the owner.

According to this ex-employee, the owner of Gideon’s was a regular at Walt Disney World Resort’s Galactic Starcruiser Hote. This hotel is notorious for costing nearly $5,000 for a two-day voyage. This kind of spending is in stark contrast to the wages of Gideon’s employees, which come in at under $9.00 an hour before tips.

While these claims have not been confirmed, they would add a shocking new level to the insanity that has already ensued. As this drama continues, fans will be closely watching to see what evolves between Gideon’s ownership and their begrudged employees.

Gideon’s Bakehouse are not Cast Members, they are employees and third party not even controlled by Disney. Gideon’s is all hype and overpriced.
