After nearly three years of not feeling the love from the Mouse, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders finally are feeling the love. A new magnet featuring everyone’s favorite purple dragon just dropped, but that’s not all! Passholders will soon have a brand new perk to enjoy!

Disney’s corporate sponsors and Disney Vacation Club have long since had lounges where they could go and escape the crowds. These exclusive lounges are open only to members or employees of the corporation that sponsors an attraction. They usually offer refreshments (for purchase) and are a great way to escape the heat, recharge (figurative and literally- most have outlets to plug in your phone), and take a break. Now Annual Passholders will have their very own lounge as well!

Located in Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT, this will be a specially designated area just for Passholders! The space is open from the time the Park opens and remains open all day until closing. It’s unclear whether the area will be in a separate room or if part of the dining area at Sunshine Seasons will be cordoned off. The latter is most likely. This is similar to what they have done in years past during special events during the Food and Wine Festival.

In addition to the food available at Sunshine Seasons, there will be exclusive treats here just for Annual Passholders. A “Spark of Grape Shake,” a  grape, guava, passion fruit, orange, lime, and raspberry “lemonade” tart (whew, that’s a lot of flavors to pack into one tiny tart), and a strawberry tart filled with raspberry jam and lemon and raspberry mousse will all be available to purchase.

You’ll want to hurry though! This perk is only available for a very limited time during Disney V.I.Passholders event. You’ll only be able catch this exclusive lounge from May 31- June 30, 2023!

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
