
They’re baaaack!
When Toy Story was released back in 1995, it made box office history as Pixar’s first feature film and instantly became a cultural phenomenon. The film was followed by three successful sequels, each one garnering box office success. In addition to securing a massive fanbase, the franchise also became a cornerstone of Disney’s animation collection.
The franchise’s most recent film, Toy Story 4, was released back in 2019. Since then, fans have been eager to get their Toy Story fix. Thankfully, that wish has now been granted.
‘Toy Story’ Comes Back to Theaters
The original Toy Story, the beloved animated film that captured the hearts of audiences worldwide, is making a triumphant return to movie theaters as part of Disney’s 100th-anniversary celebrations.
The 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company is a huge accomplishment, and Disney plans to celebrate it all year long. Guests of the parks will be happy to know that Disney is offering special nighttime spectaculars, decorations, and food and merchandise items to celebrate the occasion. Disney will also be taking a moment to look back at the incredible films in Disney’s collection.
This Summer, Disney History Comes to the Movies
There always seems to be a new Disney movie in theatres, but this summer and fall, Guests can see old Disney movies as well. First up, Toy Story will be making its grand re-appearance starting July 21 until August 3.

This is such a cool and exciting offering from Disney. Getting to see this film on the biggest screen possible is something that fans have been asking for for a while.
Following Toy Story, Disney is also bringing back The Incredibles on September 1 and Coco on September 15. These movies will only be playing in select theatres, so be sure to check ahead of time to see if they will be available at a theater near you.
