Universal Orlando Guests recently shared their dealings with a strange experience.
Universal Orlando is a popular tourist location, home to two theme parks in Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Universal also includes a water park called Universal’s Volcano Bay. This expansive resort offers a wide array of thrilling rides, immersive attractions, live shows, dining options, and much more.

Universal Studios Florida is a movie-themed park that brings the magic of the silver screen to life. Universal Guests can experience exciting attractions based on popular films and TV shows, such as Harry Potter, The Simpsons, Transformers, and Despicable Me. One of the most iconic attractions in this theme park is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which transports Guests to the enchanting world of Hogwarts. From strolling through Diagon Alley to riding the Hogwarts Express, fans can immerse themselves in the beloved wizarding universe.
Next door, Universal’s Islands of Adventure takes Guests on an extraordinary adventure through various themed islands. Each island offers a unique experience, including Marvel Super Hero Island, where Guests can join forces with their favorite superheroes such as Spider-Man, The Lost Continent, which explores the realms of ancient myths and legends, Seuss Landing and much more. The theme park is also home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Guests can explore Hogsmeade, the snowy village, visit Hogwarts Castle, and embark on thrilling rides like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and many more attractions.

In addition to the theme parks and entertainment offerings, Universal Orlando Resort also features several on-site hotels, including the luxurious and immersive Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Dockside Inn and Suites, Surfside Inn and Suites, and Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, to name a few. These hotels offer a variety of amenities, including themed rooms such as the Minions, or Jurassic Park, swimming pools, fitness centers, and complimentary transportation to the Parks.
In a Social Media Post, a Guest talks about their scary situation at Dockside Inn and Suites. This Universal Guest was walking down the halls when they heard and felt a “sigh” coming from behind when they turned around, nothing was there, they asked the other Guest if they had heard the same thing, and both darted for the room. While at the room, they Guests calmed down and thought it could have been because the walls are thin. However, it kept getting stranger and stranger.
“For context, the first time this happened me and my mom were walking down the corridor when i heard and felt a big sigh from behind me. I turn around and nothing was there and i asked my mom “did you hear that” she looked at me nodded and we both ran too the room. When we got back we talked and chalked it up too the fact the walls are thin and couldve been anything. However, it was still strange the noise was directly behind me.
The second time we were in the toilet at the bar by the pool. It was later around 9pm and me and my mom (again) went to the toilet. As i was washing my hands a voice in the exact same voice as my mom said “come on (my name)” and i looked at my mom again confused as to why she would say that as i was washing my hands. I started looking around and she was looking at me and i could tell she was slightly frightened. She then said “let’s get out of here now”. When i left the bathroom she explained that she did not say that and we were both really freaked out.”
