By now, it’s old news that one of Universal Orlando Resort’s most unique attractions has closed for good: Poseidon’s Fury. But reportedly, the doors have opened once again…
Universal Orlando Resort is home to two theme parks: Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure.

Universal Islands of Adventure is home to some of the most exciting attractions in all of Universal Orlando Resort, from Jurassic Park River Adventure, Jurassic World Velocicoaster, The Incredible Hulk Coaster to Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
But the theme park is also home to amazing dark rides, such as the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
However, the theme park, until recently, was home to a walkthrough attraction unlike any other.
Poseidon’s Fury, what I believe to be highly underrated. But it all depends on your guide, ours was amazing.

Poseidon’s Fury brought Guests back in time into the ancient world of the gods. With special effects consisting of actual water and fire, Poseidon’s Fury truly placed Guests in the middle of the action.
But one of the most iconic things about this attraction was the outdoor queue, complete with impressive mosaics, statues, and fountains. All of which brought Guests into the world of the ancient gods.

Universal must have caught onto how unique this attraction entrance is because, according to a report by Inside the Magic, all barriers keeping Guests out have been torn down.
Now, visitors are free to explore the outer entrance again. However, the inner temple is still blocked off. Both metaphorically and literally, its tomb has been sealed forever.
