Oh no! Universal Orlando is SOLD OUT of express passes, and they are not coming at a cheap rate, either.

Universal Orlando is a popular tourist location, seeing thousands of guests daily. Universal is home to two theme parks: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando also features a water park called Volcano Bay. Each Universal theme park includes different attractions, shows, and character meet and greets.

Guests heading to Universal Studios Florida get to experience the magic of movies and television to life. Guests can step into their favorite films and TV shows, from classics like E.T. Adventure to family-friendly movie attractions like Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. The park also features the iconic Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where guests can explore Diagon Alley and enjoy the thrilling escape of Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.

Next door at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, guests can join the line and ride on thrilling attractions. Universal’s Islands of Adventure also has several immersive lands guests can explore. This park takes guests on epic adventures. Some of the highlights include The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, Jurassic Park River Adventure, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, where guests can experience the spine-tingling Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.

With all of these attractions and guests hoping to do as many attractions as possible, Universal has an Express Pass that guests can purchase, or they can stay at certain Universal Resorts— which include Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort– to receive an Express Pass.

Guests who are heading to the parks hoping to purchase a Universal Express Pass Unlimited on either December 27 or December 28 will be out of luck, as they are completely sold out. Scott Gustin reported that, so far, Friday December 29th is available for purchase for $389.99.

For those wondering, a Seasonal Pass at Universal Orlando costs just $425.00 for the year, and Universal Power Pass costs just $475.00 for the year. Both of these passes have a few blackout dates– which includes this week– but they do allow visitors to come back time and time again rather than just one day of skipping the lines.

It should be noted that the highest-level Universal Orlando Annual Pass— the Premier Pass– is listed at $905.00 currently and includes Universal Express (not Universal Express Unlimited) every day after 4:00 p.m. For more information about tickets to Universal Orlando or Annual Passes, please visit their official website.

Guests who are checking into a luxury resort that gives Express Unlimited will still be able to receive passes for the 27th and 28th.

Universal Orlando Express Passes are popular among guests, and there is a limited quantity available each day.
