Time for New Merch! Our July shopDisney List

Are you planning a trip to a Disney Park and searching for new clothing and accessories for your trip? Maybe you collect Disney merchandise and want to stay in the loop on all the newest styles. Regardless of if you are on the hunt for Minnie Ears, new Star Wars merch, or Disney-inspired home goods, we have great new options on shopDisney this month.

Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Ear Headband for Adults – Disney it’s a small world

We love a good limited release item, and these new Disney “it’s a small world” Minnie ears are checking all the boxes. The ears are covered with gold numbers in the whimsical signature “it’s a small world” font, decorating the front of the years. Between the ears is the iconic “it’s a small world” castle motif, with a pink and gold small world smiling face placed in the bow’s center.

These adorable ears are a collector’s item for the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. I love that the piece pays homage to this classic 1964 ride that debuted at the World’s Fair and later opened at Disneyland on May 28, 1966, and at Walt Disney World on October 1, 1971.

The reverse side of these adorable ears is a fun lipstick pink with “Walt Disney World 50” emblazoned on the right mouse ear. These ears are priced at $34.99. Imagine taking castle selfies in the Magic Kingdom in these ears! The color combo and the fact that it honors one of my favorite Walt Disney World rides means that these ears are a must-buy for me.

Stitch Outdoor Floor Pillow

If you are looking to spruce up your outdoor space this summer and would love to give it a Disney flair, we have just the product for you. This blue and white Stitch outdoor floor pillow would be an adorable addition to any patio. The print features mischievous Stitch waving, surfing, playing the ukulele, and enjoying a coconut drink. Stitch is pictured with a nearby surf shack and the beautiful Hawaiian Coast behind him. Alternating borders of fish and waves in shades of blue and white break up the tropical pattern. This adorable pillow is giving me Polynesian Village Resort vibes.

I love that this product has a tropical vibe with a Disney touch mixed in. It doesn’t look like an overtly obvious Disney purchase and would blend with other outdoor pieces you already own. A brown handle is affixed to the top of the floor pillow, making it easy to grab and go. The floor pillow is polyester and measures 25 1/5″ 25 1/5″. This product rings in at $59.99, comparable to similar non-Disney products of the same size available at other retailers. Nothing beats merch with this iconic character, add some Stitch to your space this summer.

ShopDisney is outdoing themselves with incredible Minnie ears this month. The Main Street Electrical Parade anniversary merchandise recently hit shopDisney, and we could not be more excited. Our favorite choice from this collection is hands-down the Minnie Mouse Loungefly ears that honor this iconic parade.

Priced a bit higher than normal at $39.99 these ears are an excellent collector item for Walt Disney World fans or for Loungefly collectors. The printing features Mickey Mouse leading the parade, followed by Elliot from Pete’s Dragon on the front of the ears. The back features none other than that adorable train, Casey Junior, and the logo for Main Street Electrical Parade’s 50th Anniversary. The color scheme of red, yellow, green, blue, and white is offset by a bright yellow bow in the center of the ears that is spangled in colorful musical notes. The finishing touch is an adorable black enamel Mickey in the center of the bow, also covered with colorful musical notes. This product is giving us major throwback feels, and we love the vintage feel of these ears.

Bernard and Miss Bianca Pin – The Rescuers

You know, I’m a fan of classic Disney movies. Two of my favorite Disney heroes of all time happen to be two of the smallest. That’s right, I’m talking about Bernard and Miss Bianca from The Rescuers. I was delighted to see the addition of a Bernard and Miss Bianca pin this month. Priced at only $12.99 this pin shows this adorable duo getting drenched underneath a purple umbrella in the iconic rain scene at the start of their rescue adventure. This enamel pin measures approximately 1 ¾” in height and is a must-have for pin collectors.

Pandora – The World of Avatar Tapestry

Speaking of Pandora, there is a beautiful new wall décor option that you may want to snag for your home. The Pandora – The World of Avatar tapestry would be a great addition to any home. Measuring approximately 17 inches and 1/4″ x 21″ this tapestry is made from a blend of fabrics and is affixed by a hanging rope. This neutral and earthy décor piece would fit seamlessly with a Bohemian style and would add a touch of Disney and Avatar magic!

The tapestry background is a neutral cream-colored canvas with the scene in the middle depicting the flora and fauna of Pandora. The scene is dotted with floating mountains in a circular design. Pandora – The World of Avatar is printed underneath the tapestry picture. This piece is $49.99.

Turning Red Night Light

Obviously, the Disney Pixar movie Turning Red has been met with pushback from some parent groups. While there are mixed reviews of this Disney Pixar movie, I happen to love it. As a big fan of Mei (in red panda or her original form), I think this glowing red panda lamp is too adorable to pass up.

What looks like an adorable character figurine in daylight is actually a glowing lamp. At $27.99 this would be an adorable addition to a kid’s room or Disney bathroom and measures approximately 6 1/2” H x 5 3/4” W x 5 3/4” D.

Pandora – The World of Avatar Candle

There is nothing like a certain smell to transport you back in time to a specific moment. An odd but common comment from Guests that have visited Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is about the signature smell in this land. As always, Disney thought ahead and created a single wick candle that transports Guests back to Pandora.

Specifically, to the Avatar Flight of Passage ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Inspired by this jaw-dropping ride, This candle is a must-have for fans of this ride. Imagine what a great gift this would make for family and friends that love this ride or Pandora – The World of Avatar. Priced at $27.99 this is a great Disney home good to add to your collection.

Turning Red Crossbody Bag

We love a good clear bag, so this Turning Red whimsical cross-body really delivers. This clear cross-body is emblazoned with cute drawings and character stamps that Mei and her girl gang would love.

The cross-body bag measures around 7 1/2” H x 6” W x 2 1/2” L and comes with a small CD-shaped pouch that is around 4 1/2” Diameter x 3/5” in size. The CD pouch is labeled “4Town 99′ Australian Tour” and compliments the whimsical cross-body bag perfectly. The straps pack a punch in a pastel rainbow stripe. This $34.99 bag would be an adorable Park or concert bag!

These are just a few of the new merch highlights for July. If you are a Disney fan that is always craving new merchandise, take the time to pop on shopDisney.com often and filter by new arrivals. Remember to search for a shopDisney coupon to use at checkout. Depending on when you shop, there may be sales and shipping deals available to increase your savings. Happy shopping!

About Katie Chapman

Hey There! I am a Georgia native with a passion for writing, traveling, cooking, decorating, pugs and of course all things Disney. Growing up in South Georgia just a few hours from Walt Disney World made for a magical childhood. Some of my best memories were made on Main Street U.S.A. with my sister watching SpectroMagic nighttime parade or beside my grandparents, parents and extended family at Chef Mickey’s celebrating on a family vacation. Epcot was my favorite park from a young age and I credit it with my interest in and love for international travel. As a kid I loved meeting characters and watching films around World Showcase and could spend hours exploring each of the countries in Epcot. These days, my husband and I get away to explore a new country whenever we can and even incorporate trips to The Disney Store and Disney Parks around the world in our travels. One of our travel goals is to visit every Disney Park in the world. I love writing about Disney restaurants, park tips, Disney outfit inspiration and Disney history. Pocahontas is my favorite Disney Princess (90s kid here!) but Mr. Toad is my spirit animal. When I’m not at Disney I’m reading about park history, watching Disney documentaries and shopping vintage Disney merch for park outfits. I never pass up a reservation to Ohana, an empty seat on Living with the Land or a Violet Sake.
