Thirty new EXCLUSIVE sweets & treats, M&Ms and Skittles wall to debut when Confectionery opens next week!

It’s been a long time coming, but the Main Street Confectionery is finally reopening next week after a 6-month long refurbishment.

When the Magic Kingdom sweets spot closed up shop at the end of March, we weren’t sure how long the reimagining of the Confectionery would take, and we’re happy to confirm that not only will the shop open next Wednesday, September 29, but it will do so with brand-new interactive, sweets-customizing experiences for Guests and a fresh look throughout the shop’s interior!

How do you like your popcorn? When you visit the reimagined Confectionery next week, you’ll be able to customize it!

Choose from four flavors of popcorn: rainbow fruit, caramel, butter, and cheddar. Then choose your toppings; there are rainbow colors of M&Ms and Skittles to add to your creation, and you can even add chocolate drizzle if you like your popcorn really sweet!

Guests can also step right up to the candy kitchen and watch as Disney World iconic treats and sweets are made right in front of their eyes.

The new Main Street Confectionery will be home to more than 30 new treats you won’t be able to find anywhere else in the parks, including new fudge varieties and exciting new treats for the 50th anniversary celebration that are almost too pretty to eat.

Almost.

We just cannot wait for the 50th anniversary celebration to get underway at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Remember if you can’t be in the parks next Friday for the kick-off, you can catch an all-new special that evening at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC, called The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World.
