On March 29, Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionery closed for a lengthy refurbishment. While we have missed the popular sweets stop on Main Street, U.S.A., there have been some treats from Main Street Confectionery available at the Emporium and Main Street Cinema during the refurbishment closure. It looks like the Confectionery refurbishment wait has come to an end, however, as Main Street Confectionery now has operating hours listed for next week! According to the Walt Disney World website and as shown in the screenshot below, Main Street Confectionery now has operating hours listed beginning Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
While details about Main Street Confectionery’s refurbishment have been few and far between, Disney has said, “This iconic location will soon receive a fresh new look, expanded layout with more room to shop, and interactive opportunities to customize your confections like never before.” Yes, you read that right… can you imagine being able to customize your confections?
