When many Guests imagine their vacations at the Walt Disney World Resort, they immediately picture wonderful attractions, delicious dining options, shopping locations, and more. However, in addition to the amazing experiences and theming found all around, there are also some amazing live entertainment acts that cover everything from live music to serene scenes of nature.

Live entertainment is a very broad term at the Walt Disney World Resort that could include everything from stage shows like the Festival of the Lion King to parades like the Festival of Fantasy Parade. However, there are also plenty of amazing live entertainment acts that can be stumbled upon in the Disney Parks, as well as special acts in unique locations. Dapper Dans
One of the most beloved live entertainment acts at the Walt Disney World Resort is the Dapper Dans, who can be found performing throughout the day on Main Street, U.S.A., in the Magic Kingdom. This ragtime quartet, dressed in brightly colored striped jackets and classic straw hats, loves to serenade Guests with a mix of Disney favorites as well as ragtime throwbacks. The Dapper Dans are always in harmony and even throw in some seasonal numbers for Halloween and Christmas, making them an excellent way to enjoy the atmosphere on Main Street, U.S.A. any time of the year.

JaMMitors
Over in EPCOT, a livelier and rocking band with a totally unique name and style can be found performing throughout World Celebration and World Discovery each day. The JaMMitors are a group of Cast Members dressed as custodians and armed with an array of metal trash cans and lids, which they use as percussion instruments to create catchy and entertaining beats. Guests absolutely love stopping to listen to the JaMMitors unique sound and style, and they are a great example of how slowing down to check out some live acts can make any Disney day even better!

Matsuriza
EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to some incredible live entertainment acts, including a dramatic and unforgettable group that performs in the Japan Pavilion. Matsuriza is a group that performs Taiko, the ancient Japanese form of drumming, throughout each day on the steps of a five-story pagoda modeled after the Horyuji Temple. Featuring massive drums and a rhythmic style that is mesmerizing, Matsuriza puts on an unforgettable show that Guests definitely do not want to miss out on.

Voices of Liberty
Not far away in EPCOT’s World Showcase is The American Adventure Pavilion, which is home to an attraction of the same name that is housed inside a beautiful colonial building with an impressive lobby and waiting area. The Voices of Liberty are a wonderful a cappella group that performs before each showing of The America Adventure, and their beautiful voices come together in perfect harmony underneath a stunning rotunda. The group performs a variety of patriotic classics for Guests and even hangs around to mingle and chat after each performance. The Voices of Liberty are absolutely a must-do in EPCOT, and Guests should plan on enjoying their fifteen-minute show before each showing of The American Adventure.

DiVine
One of the most unique live entertainment acts is one that is so subtle and serene that many Guests might pass right on by without noticing! DiVine is a single performer who is beautifully adorned with leaves, vines, and branches to look like part of the lush greenery found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The performer calmly walks on stilts along the path that connects the Africa and Asia sections of the Disney Park, and Guests who aren’t looking right at her might just miss her altogether! DiVine is a beautiful sight to see in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the attention to detail in her costume is unparalleled!

Kora Tinga Tinga
The Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to the village of Harambe where a central stage hosts several acts throughout each day, including Kora Tinga Tinga. A solo performer, Kora Tinga Tinga plays a traditional African harp that creates beautiful melodies and calming beats that will truly make Guests feel as though they have crossed the globe and are walking through a small village in Africa.

Viva Gaia Street Band
Over on Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Guests can check out another live entertainment act that is sure to have them up and dancing along. Viva Gaia Street Band performs several times throughout each day on a stage near Flame Tree Barbecue, and their brightly colored costumes and vibrant Caribbean musical style create a dance party every time they begin to play. Guests who are wandering through Discovery Island and hear the Viva Gaia Street Band definitely need to stop and enjoy the wonderful show!

Jellyrolls
Disney’s BoardWalk is an excellent nighttime location for Guests looking to enjoy some dining and entertainment each night. Jellyrolls is a unique dueling piano bar where Guests 21 and older are welcomed to submit requests and sing along as masterful musicians play nearly every genre under the sun. With some delicious cocktails and a lively and fun atmosphere where participation is encouraged, Jellyrolls makes for an unforgettable night out on Disney’s BoardWalk at the Walt Disney World Resort!

YeeHa Bob Jackson
The River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is home to a laid-back atmosphere where Guests can enjoy a menu of themed specialty cocktails and small bites in addition to a wonderful live entertainment act on select nights. YeeHa Bob Jackson is a memorable performer dressed in bright yellow clown pants, red suspenders, and a yellow hat who plays a variety of Disney songs and other catchy tunes on a literal rocking piano. With singing along and participation encouraged, YeeHa Bob’s show is a lively and entertaining end to any day at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
The final live entertainment act that cannot be missed is the renowned Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. This two-hour-long performance features an over-the-top cast who perform in a series of skits and musical acts that will have Guests stomping and singing along and even on stage at times!
