Sunrise Yoga in front of Cinderella Castle? Wicked medals? Here’s all the details

It’s almost impossible to believe that we are already on the home stretch toward 2022! That means it’s also time for the return of runDisney’s in-person races at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

And what’s better than in-person races at Disney World? How about Sunrise Yoga in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom! Disney’s Sunrise Yoga event is scheduled for February 24, 2022, at 5:30 a.m., and it kicks off Princess Marathon Weekend, February 24 through February 27.

Disney princesses dash beneath the “Disney Princess 2022 Half Marathon Weekend, Walt Disney World” banner. Event highlights feature dazzling collectible medals and an exhilarating Sunrise Yoga session with Cinderella Castle as the stunning backdrop.

Guests can enjoy a gorgeous sunrise in the Sunshine State, amazing views of the castle with every pose, as well as some pretty magical perks, like a new yoga mat, mat carrying cover, and water bottle, all compliments of the Mouse.

Registration for Sunrise begins Tuesday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. The cost is $95. Visit runDisney’s site here for all the details and to register.

Registration for all in-person races for Princess Marathon Weekend opened in late August, and there are currently spots left for the half-marathon event and the Fairy Tale Challenge, as well as the virtual races.

But let’s talk the “Wickedly Delicious” Wine & Dine Weekend for a minute, happening in November!

And speaking of registration, let’s talk runDisney’s Wine & Dine Weekend for a minute!

Guests can participate in the Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend from November 4 to November 7, 2021, at Disney World. There are different themes for each race, including the 5K, the 10K, the half-marathon, and the 2-Course Challenge, which bundles the 10K and the half-marathon.

Registration began in mid-July of this year, and so far, there are still spots available in both the half-marathon and the 2-Course Challenge!

Every Guests earns a special medal for finishing a race, and the medals have never been spookier!

Guests who finish the 5K will receive a perfectly evil medal feature none other than the Queen of Evil herself from Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

A Snow White and Evil Queen-themed 5K race medal is proudly displayed in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, showcasing the ultimate fairytale addition to your runDisney medal collection.

Guests who finish the 10k event will earn this nightmarishly adorable medal, featuring Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie.

Guests who get their groove on and finish the half-marathon event will get to take home this medal, featuring Yzma and Kronk from the Emperor’s New Groove.

And for the poor, unfortunate souls who finish the 2-Course Challenge, runDisney has a special medal with Ursula from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
