The 79-year-old singer and songwriter–one of only two living Beatles–put his talents on display as he sang hits like “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Maybe I’m Amazed,” “Lady Madonna” and “Hey Jude.”During one part of his nearly three-hour performance, McCartney, aka “Macca,” sang “My Valentine.” As part of the visual elements of the show during the song, McCartney’s team projected scenes from a video onto the screens on either side of the stage.
On the screen to the right of the stage, fans got to see a larger-than-life version of Johnny Depp as he signed the words from McCartney’s love song. On the screen to the left of the stage, fans could see Natalie Portman signing words as well.
Though Paul McCartney’s concert in Orlando on Saturday has been planned for months, the use of visuals of Johnny Depp during the concert the day after his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard saw closing arguments and the case was handed over to the jury has more than a few fans pleased as it certainly seems like the Beatles alum was showing support for the defamed Depp.
