As expected, James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) also broke box office records and was also revolutionary due to the technology used to film the movie.

In fact, part of the reason for such a long gap between the first film and the sequel is that James Cameron needed to wait until the technology necessary to film underwater had been invented. Talk about dedication!

However, fans of the franchise have had more waiting to do in order to watch the film outside of theaters. But Avatar fans will be excited to hear that we finally know when Avatar: The Way of Water will receive a DVD release.
