New cruise-themed attraction now available at ‘Walt Disney Presents’ at Hollywood Studios

Don’t you love “Walt Disney Presents” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? It’s an awe-inspiring, lavish exhibit dedicated to the life and genius of Walter Elias Disney.

Inside, Guests can see childhood photos of Walt, as well as photos of his boyhood home, his family, and even his earliest work. There are tiny-scale models of some of the attractions inside the parks, and you can even take a look at Walt’s multi-plane camera that stands in a glass tower in the middle of one of the exhibition rooms.

Now cruise enthusiasts can take in a brand-new attraction inside Walt Disney Presents–an exhibition of a different kind.

In celebration of the upcoming delivery and maiden voyage of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, the new exhibit takes a look at the history of the cruise line and its fleet and also gives Guests a glimpse into the making of the fleet’s newest member, slated to set out on its maiden voyage in summer 2022, thanks to never-before-seen artifacts and photos.

In addition to these, Guests will also enjoy the following items inside the exhibit:

  • A life-size maquette of the Cinderella statue that will grace the Grand Hall of the ship
  • An intricately detailed, 5 1/2-foot scale model of the ship
  • Replicas of the Disney Animation maquettes that will adorn the dining rooms at 1923, an elegant family restaurant inspired by the golden age of Hollywood
  • A scale concept model used to design the larger-than-life stern statue of Rapunzel

There are even more surprises in store for Guests who visit “Walt Disney Presents,” located in the Animation Courtyard, just before you make the right turn to enter Toy Story Land.
