The year 2019 marked a momentous occasion for the Star Wars franchise, as it witnessed a rekindling of interest with the release of The Mandalorian on Disney+. Despite being set between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, the overwhelming popularity of The Mandalorian meant that his inclusion in Batuu was an inevitable decision. This year, the long-awaited appearance of Din Djarin, accompanied by the ever-adorable Grogu (Baby Yoda), finally came to fruition at Galaxy’s Edge. The buzz and excitement that followed was palpable, with throngs of people gathering around the famed bounty hunter. However, sightings of Mando have proven to be elusive, as there are no official meet times for the roaming character. The same can be said for the recent inclusion of Boba Fett, another beloved character from the Star Wars universe. As a result, many fans have taken up residence in Batuu, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite characters in action.

Rest assured, Mando fans. Disney World has taken note of the immense popularity of The Mandalorian and has taken steps to facilitate opportunities to meet the character Din Djarin. Thanks to the newly updated My Disney Experience App, guests can now easily access information about appearance times for Mando in Galaxy’s Edge. According to a post by Scott Gustin on X (previously known as Twitter), the planning app for Disney World now displays that guests can meet Mando every hour until mid-afternoon.

It is truly thrilling to hear that visitors to Batuu will no longer have to contend with the pressing crowds of onlookers just to catch a glimpse of the legendary gunslingers of the Star Wars franchise. However, it is still unclear whether fans will be able to meet some of the most iconic characters, such as Boba Fett. Boba Fett, Din Djarin, and Grogu have become particularly beloved due to their appearances in popular shows like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, where their paths often intersect. It is only a matter of time before Disney World incorporates meet-and-greet opportunities for these sought-after characters, much to the delight of their fervent fans.

The park was meticulously crafted to tell a captivating story, allowing guests to witness the ongoing struggle between the Resistance and the First Order firsthand. With a vast amount of source material to draw from, Disney has masterfully ensured that all iconic characters receive their rightful moment in the spotlight within Galaxy’s Edge, despite varying timelines.
