In the early 2000s, Disney fans fell in love with a fun show about a teenage girl trying to make it through high school while also dealing with her unpredictable psychic powers.
That’s So Raven starred Raven-Symoné as the young psychic teenager, who could always count on her two best friends, Eddie and Chelsea. That’s So Raven was a huge hit and even resulted in a spinoff series about Raven’s younger brother called Cory in the House.

In the original series, Eddie was played by Orlando Brown, and Chelsea was played by Anneliese van der Pol. Ten years after That’s So Raven ended, Raven-Symoné and Anneliese van der Pol reunited for a new Disney Channel series, Raven’s Home. While not as popular as the original series, Raven’s Home did hit a soft spot with viewers and ran for six seasons before being canceled by Disney in 2023.

Being on That’s So Raven and Raven’s Home was not the only work van der Pol did for Disney. For more than a year, she was also a key part of the group of talented Disney stars performing Disney Princesses in Concert.
Then, on May 12, van der Pol shocked fans when she shared a TikTok video revealing that she had been fired by Disney. But van der Pol said Disney did not call her to tell her that she was fired. Instead, she claimed that they sent her an email.

The comments on van der Pol’s video were mixed. Some people told her to spill all the Disney tea, while others told her to act like Elsa and “Let It Go.” Then, just months after van der Pol shared news of her firing, she posted another video on TikTok, laughing when she learned that Disney had canceled Raven’s Home.

However, one starlet decided that she had had enough of Anneliese and her social media posts.
Dance Moms alum JoJo Siwa goaded the singer with a comment saying that Disney would do just fine without van der Pol and that the only thing she had going for her was her time on That’s So Raven and Raven’s Home.

Van der Pol then appeared on another Disney Channel star’s podcast, Big Name B****es, hosted by Even Stevens star Christy Carlson Romano, to talk about the beef.
Carlson Romano said that Siwa had commented on one of van der Pol’s videos, but then deleted it. Van der Pol laughed, saying that, before JoJo Siwa commented, she had no idea who the dancer was. Romano laughed and said that Siwa didn’t like van der Pol, but the talented singer did not seem to care.

What the Heck is Going On With JoJo Siwa?
This is not the first time in recent weeks that the dancer/singer has faced a lot of criticism for her actions.
On May 19, Siwa headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth to celebrate her 21st birthday. Unfortunately, fellow Disney World guests found her more annoying than adorable. Videos quickly went viral of Siwa stumbling around while drinking and trying to force guests to sing along to her new song, “Karma.”
Siwa later said that she remembered “most” of her time in EPCOT, but internet detectives didn’t think she was telling the truth.

Shortly after news of her antics broke, social media sleuths started to accuse Siwa of lying about being drunk. They pulled multiple images and videos, showing that Siwa’s cup was almost always full. And when she did take a drink out of it, it appeared to be a small sip. They accused her of acting how she thought a drunk girl would act.
Siwa has not commented on the allegations.
