“Clearly Wasted” Starlet Annoys EPCOT Guests With Forced Sing Along

For decades, every Disney theme park remained dry, meaning guests could not purchase alcohol while visiting. That all changed when EPCOT opened at Walt Disney World Resort in 1982. Guests could travel around the World Showcase lagoon and taste different alcoholic beverages from a variety of countries. Now, despite Walt Disney’s wishes, alcohol has become a core part of Disney’s theme park business, as well as a big part of people’s vacations.

Over the years, drinking at Disney has become a point of contention among guests. On the one hand, there are those who look forward to indulging in Disney’s delicious libations during their trip. On the other hand, there are those who think that drinking has gotten out of control and ruined the magic of Disney.

One of the most debated parts of drinking at Disney is Drinking Around the World at EPCOT. During this experience, a guest visits each of the World Showcase’s eleven pavilions and has an alcoholic beverage at each stop.

One popular media personality recently participated in Drinking Around the World to celebrate her 21st birthday. Unfortunately, she got so intoxicated that her great time annoyed many other guests, who called her out on social media.

JoJo Siwa first shot to fame on the hit shows Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition and Dance Moms. She then used that fame to further her career as a singer, dancer, and actress. Throughout her career, Siwa has always been open about her love of Disney and has been seen visiting Disneyland and Disney World multiple times.

On May 19, Siwa turned 21 years old and decided that EPCOT was the best place to celebrate. There are a ton of great drinks to enjoy in EPCOT, but Ms. Siwa allegedly enjoyed a few too many.

In a TikTok video, Siwa can be seen falling down because she was so drunk and trying to force guests to sing her newest song. The problem was that most guests didn’t know her song, so it just really became Siwa shouting and getting guests to guess the words. Guests can be seen in the video looking annoyed at having to deal with a drunk Siwa.

X (formerly Twitter) user Evan Patel said that Siwa was bothering everyone around her because she was so drunk and said that he was not a fan.

Found Jojo siwa at Epcot. She’s being pretty obnoxious. I am not a fan of this person lol

Some commented that this was not the first time Siwa had behaved poorly while at Disney. One person said that a private Disney tour guide said she was the worst guest they ever had.

Others wondered why the Dance Moms alum was celebrating her 21st birthday by getting drunk with her mom instead of spending time with friends. However, some videos do seem to show that there were other people with Siwa and not just her mom.

Do you think Disney should crack down on people getting drunk at its theme parks? Let us know in the comments!

  1. She is 21 and celebrating that, but you would think before you do that out in public in a park that has so many children who watched her for years, she would think about her actions. Very classless.

  2. If this were any other guest, they would be escorted off the proporty and told not to come back, possibly even banned. Extremely classless especially since so many children look up to her.

  3. Im not one to put down drinking as I enjoy an occasional glass of wine or a cocktail, BUT Walt Disney’s decision to NOT have alcohol at his parks was set in place for a reason. His wishes should have been respected. This is not the first time a guest has gotten intoxicated at Disney and it really ruins it for others.

  4. It’s one thing to have a drink or two but it sounds to me like this Drinking Around the World is a bad idea. Disney is primarily for families. Children should not be forced to witness this sort of drunken behavior. Disney needs a policy of removing drunks from the property no matter who they are.

  5. She is really trying hard to hold onto her fading fame that she will do anything to stay relevant even being drunk and obnoxious.

  6. Adding alcohol to Disney parks was for profits, not for enjoyment. Too many folks pay more attention to drinking than to their families having a good time. And if there is someone drunk or obnoxious, even if they are a so-called celebrity, they should be discreetly removed.

  7. Disney needs to put an end to guests behaving badly, which is a tall order. This is just another example of the gross overentitlement that I see all the time in the parks as an annual passholder. Disney has a very lenient policy, to try and keep it magical for all especially for the children, which is what Disney is all about. But when you have people behaving badly, especially with the alcohol at Epcot, who live in today’s current society where it’s all about me, those few ruin it for the many. As numbers of entitled people grow, problems like these will continue to increase. I feel that as far as alcohol in Epcot goes, and being a former bartender, they need to institute the same and licensing training that I went through as a Bartender, empower their alcohol servers, so they have the ability to shut someone off just like a regular bar, and put a communications system in place so they just can’t jump down the road to the next stand. Everyone still drinks, has a good time, and we have a safer and more enjoyable place for the families that are there with reasonable limits. if you are purposely going to get trashed at Disney, don’t, show some personal responsibility.
