For those of us still searching for our happily ever after, there is no better place to look than Walt Disney World! The magic of Disney awakens the romantic in all of us. There’s just something about it. Whether it’s the inherent happiness, the beauty, or the fun, Disney is a real-life romance springing into reality. And they know best. Disney has created and enhanced some of the world’s most beloved romances, often giving us unrealistic expectations. But are they really unrealistic? Or could your happily ever after be a Mickey bar away? We have some fun tips for how to find your perfect match at Walt Disney World. Remember to always be respectful and kind!

Single Rider Line

Now, we’re not saying that you have to be unattached to wait in the single rider line. But the odds are in your favor, right? The single rider line is typically used for people who want to get on a ride faster and aren’t traveling with a large party. It’s perfect for just hopping on something really quickly. It’s also great for striking up a conversation with the people around you. Who knows? Your perfect match might be the person standing in front of you! It could be the person sitting next to you on Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster

Lounge Crawl

To further add to the point that Disney is not just for children, we have the lounge crawl! No matter what Park you are in, you can partake in this beloved activity. We think that EPCOT has some of the best options for this particular method of meeting people, but that’s just us. Tour the world with food and drinks and meet people along the way. This is a great opportunity for talking with lots of different people and maybe even buying someone special a drink! If it goes well in one country, ask them to come with you to the next and see where it leads!

Visit Your Resort Pool

Maybe you need a break from the lively Park atmosphere. Chances are other singles on vacation do too. It is very possible the two of you need breaks from your relatives. What a conversation starter! Hanging out by the Resort pool is a great way to get to know people, romantically or platonically. The pool is a place to relax and soak up that Florida sunshine. Maybe you’ll meet your match racing down the waterslide (just kidding, I don’t think Cast Members would allow that), or sipping the drink of the day by the bar. You might even meet someone great sitting in the deck chair next to you. You never know!

Hang Around Cinderella’s Wishing Well

As its name suggests, Magic Kingdom has plenty of opportunities for the magic to take place. One of our all-time favorite romantic spots in the Park is Cinderella’s Wishing Well. Tucked away on a path leading away from the Castle, this little well waits for anyone with a wish in their heart. We’ve seen so many beautiful pictures and videos of couples getting engaged here. That could be you! Take a coin down to Cinderella’s Well and make a wish with all of your heart. Perhaps your prince or princess will be wishing too…

Ask a Character for Advice

If you are feeling a bit down about finding your perfect match, why not ask the experts? We bet some of your favorite Disney characters would have excellent dating advice! You could spend an entire day walking around the Parks and finding love experts, like Olaf! For example, you could go see Ariel and ask her how she felt meeting Eric for the first time. Or talk to Flynn about mastering your very own smolder! We bet asking some villains for love advice would be incredibly entertaining. We don’t recommend taking said advice, but we’re curious to hear what they’d have to say.

Make a Wish Upon a Star During the Fireworks

Any Walt Disney World fireworks show encourages Guests to dream big and experience the magic in their own hearts every day. There’s something romantic about this. There’s something romantic and magical about everyone gathered in one place wishing for the very same thing. We all wish for a desire of our heart. And for many, that desire is finding their perfect match. Your perfect match could be in that very crowd, making a wish upon a star amidst the fireworks and music and laughter.

Take a Chance on a Monorail Loop

Taking a Monorail loop is such a great way to relax and rest after a long day in the Parks. Sometimes it feels like its own ride. Meeting people in the Walt Disney World Parks isn’t exactly difficult since there are so many of us, but it can be very hard to have a quiet moment. A Monorail loop can provide this. (Although, sometimes the Monorail is anything BUT quiet….) If it seems right, maybe talk to the person sitting on the bench across from you about their day. Who knows what could happen?

Sing “Love Is An Open Door” at the Top of Your Lungs

If all else fails, run down Main Street, U.S.A. shouting: “We finish each other’s…..” as loud as you can. If you hear someone sing back “Sandwiches!” then you might have found your perfect match!
