When the movie Tangled came out, it quickly became a Disney classic. The incredible animated film follows the story of Rapunzel, played by Mandy Moore, and Flynn Rider, played by Zachary Levi. This movie has music, characters, and story that simply captured hearts. If you are a hardcore Tangled fan, there are several opportunities and experiences around Walt Disney World that you’ll definitely need to check out. Here are 10 of them:
1. Bathrooms in Magic Kingdom
I never thought I’d add bathrooms to any positive article I wrote, but here we are. The Tangled themed bathroom area in Magic Kingdom is so cool. The inside of the bathrooms are decorated as if Rapunzel did it herself, with murals on the walls and old paints on shelves. The outside looks like her tower, with the purple star flags strewn about to feel like the town square where Rapunzel and Flynn danced in the movie.
2. Memory Maker Lanterns
If you have opt to include Memory Maker in your Disney Vacation package, you’ll get to experience this cool photo! The photo spot is located right outside of that bathroom area mentioned above. This beautiful shot makes it look like you and/or your partner are in the midst of the annual lantern release in Rapunzel’s Kingdom. You get to lift up your own lantern and it’s wonderful.
3. Happily Ever After Fireworks Show
The technology in the Happily Ever After Fireworks show in Magic Kingdom is absolutely breathtaking. The projections on the Castle are out of this world – I can’t even being to imagine the Imagineering it took to get that precision. One of the most stunning sections of the show is the Tangled scene. Rapunzel and Flynn sing: “I See the Light,” and the lanterns soar up the Castle and into the stars. It’s a tear up moment for sure.

4. Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast
This character breakfast is at Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk. The meal has a fixed menu and is only available through reservation. But this is a wonderful experience for kids, adults, and Tangled lovers alike. Rapunzel and Flynn hang around in the dining room, stopping to talk with each table for a little while. Ariel and Prince Eric also have appearances!
5. Mickey’s Royal Festive Faire
Mickey’s Royal Festive Faire is a live stage show that takes place throughout the day in the Magic Kingdom, right on the Cinderella Castle stage. This adorable, musical show is a celebration of royalty with Mickey, Minnie, Princes and Princesses, and the whole gang. Rapunzel and Flynn are a big part, along with Tiana and Naveen, Anna and Elsa, and even Olaf!
6. Festival of Fantasy Parade
Every day in Magic Kingdom, the Festival of Fantasy Parade makes its way around the Park, eventually making its grand exit through Main Street USA. This parade is lavish and lush and loud and fun. It’s absolutely a celebration of the fantasy of Disney. I love it. One of the best floats in the parade is the Tangled float. This moving behemoth is like the Snuggly Duckling come to life. Rapunzel, Flynn, Maximus, Pascal, and the Thugs literally hang on the float, swinging back and forth as they travel. It’s incredible.
7. Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique
For the little Tangled lover in your life, Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique is the way to go. For an added fee (sometimes a pretty big one) your princess can look like Rapunzel for the day! There are two BBB locations in Walt Disney World right now: in Cinderella Castle and at Disney Springs, but they are currently building more locations coming soon. Merchandise stores around Disney property that sell toys often have little plushes of Pascal. He goes really cute on the shoulder of a mini-Rapunzel.
8. Meet Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall
Fairytale Hall is in Fantasyland, behind the Castle, which is a great spot to dream of fantasy! Rapunzel is all about big dreams. Guests can meet and chat with Rapunzel in this special princess meet and greet area. You can wait stand by or secure a spot with FastPasses. I love this opportunity because you can actually have a conversation with Rapunzel, ask her questions, swap stories. You can also meet Tiana!
9. Disney Cruise Line – Rapunzel’s Royal Table
I know this isn’t actually Walt Disney World, but there some amazing opportunities for Tangled lovers on the Cruise Line, as well. The Disney Magic has three main restaurants: Lumiere’s, Animator’s Palate, and Rapunzel’s Royal Table. The last is completely inspired by Tangled and makes guests feel like they’re actually right in the middle of the movie!
10. Disney Cruise Line – Tangled: The Musical
Also on the Disney Magic is a live stage version of the amazing film. The show happens during Showtime Tonight on each cruise. The sets and costumes are phenomenal and it’s so fun to see your favorite movie come to life in front of you!
