Each holiday season, it seems that there is a hot new item that is on everyone’s “must-buy” list, and this year is no exception. This year, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort introduced a musical popcorn bucket. The fun bucket features adorable Christmas scenes full of classic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto.

Hot ticket items like these can sell out fast, and resellers are quick to get their hands on as many of them as possible. That can definitely ruin the magic for those who don’t get the chance to purchase one. However, one man visiting EPCOT decided to get his hands on as many as he could and then do what no one expected — give them out to strangers for free.

Laura Demers was visiting the EPCOT with her daughter when she saw a man purchase 10 of the musical buckets. According to Laura, he then handed them out to strangers in line, including her daughter.

In line for popcorn at Epcot a few minutes ago and this gentleman ahead of us proceeds to buy 10 holiday buckets of popcorn ($28 each) and hands them out to all of us random strangers behind him. Arya was thrilled and I was reminded how cool a random act of kindness can be.

The holiday season is known as the season of giving, and this unknown Guest definitely had Disney magic in his heart. As stated by Laura, each musical popcorn bucket costs $28, so the man spent nearly $300, just to spread some magic to people he will never see again.

The musical popcorn buckets will be available at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort throughout the holiday season, or as long as supplies last.
