Fans are worried about Johnny Depp. After a very hard couple of years during which he has seen his character called into question and a defamation trial against former wife Amber Heard, fans worry the 60-year-old singer/actor’s health may be suffering. The Pirates of the Caribbean star recently said goodbye to Hollywood and embraced his inner Rockstar after going on tour with his band Hollywood Vampires. They canceled a performance two days ago during their World tour.

Johnny Depp is perhaps one of the most prolific character actors of our times. Playing iconic characters such as Willy Wonka and Captain Jack Sparrow, Depp has become a household name. From Pirate to Wizard he also captured audiences’ imaginations as Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald based in the Harry Potteruniverse by J.K Rowling. Now he is winning at the rock n roll game as guitarist for supergroup Hollywood Vampires alongside legends like Alice Cooper and Joe Perry.

The band formed in 2012 and is currently on tour in Europe. The band had to cancel their Budapest minutes before they were due on stage. They released a message saying, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Vampires will be canceling tonight’s show in Budapest. All tickets (general and VIP, including meet & greet) will be fully refunded. We love and appreciate all of the fans who traveled from near and far to see us rise, and we’re truly sorry. Sincere apologies, The Hollywood Vampires.” The band posted a similar message on Instagram.

After Depp hurt his ankle in May, prompting show cancellations, many became concerned about his health after the message and last-minute change of plans. Their Instagram post was flooded with concerned comments for the former Edward Scissorhands star.
One fan questioned, “What are the unforeseen circumstances I wonder?? Is Johnny Depp okay? I hope so,” while another wrote, “Guys, give us an update, we’re worried 🥺.”

Another comment read, “Prayers sent for everyone there and HV. Hopefully, in time they’ll be rocking it out and back on track. Much love sent as well. Btw thank you for posting.”
Many have been concerned about Depp because he seems to be aging fast. Though the star is 60, many claim he suddenly looks much older; some blame hard living and illicit substances, while others blame the stress of the Amber Heard defamation trial.
The band’s next scheduled performance is tonight in Slovakia. It remains to be seen whether the show will be canceled or not. No updates have been given.
