This is honestly embarrassing for Disney.

For the past 100 years, Disney has been known as an innovator when it comes to filmmaking. The talented folks behind Disney’s film studios have historically provided the highest quality products to audiences. Disney has especially excelled in the Art of Animation.

As technology has progressed over the years, Disney has evolved with the times. The company has currently been doing a lot of projects that include the use of CGI, or computer-generated imagery. While Disney usually does pretty well with CGI, their newest movie has left fans completely horrified over their sloppy work.

Disney Movie Majorly Misses the Mark

The Walt Disney Company loves CGI. Almost all of their live-action remakes use it, as well as some of their most acclaimed movies like Avatar and Star Wars. With the upcoming live-action The Little Mermaid coming out soon, fans are expecting Disney to be well versed in using CGI by now.

Unfortunately, this is not the case. The new Disney Plus film Prom Pachas left fans “horrified” by the terrible and sloppy use of CGI. Prom Pact stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Mandy Yang, a student desperate to do whatever she has to do to get off the waitlist at Harvard University. To do so, she befriends jock Graham Lansing, played by Blake Draper, because his dad is a Harvard alum.

While the film has some positive reviews, unfortunately, many viewers can’t move past the bad CGI. In the movie’s opening scene, we see Mandy in a school gym during a pep rally. In seats at the stadium, there is an odd mix of real extras and CGI students. The product is not great.

A picture of the CGI student has gone viral on the internet for all the wrong reasons. As you see in the video, the second row is comprised of the badly executed CGI students.

Fans are feeling let down and honestly terrified by this cheap job done by Disney. Do better!
