Edna Mode may never look back darlings, but thankfully Disney’s Hollywood Studios does! The queen of style is coming back to greet guests after a long absence. That’s right! The Edna Mode Experience is back!

This fah-aaabulous meet and greet opened in 2019 so we barely had time to enjoy it before the pandemic shut it down. It is currently one of a very few that haven’t returned since the Parks reopened. It also happens to be one of the Disney characters we missed meeting the most. We are absolutely ecstatic that Edna is finally coming back. She will once again occupy the space where Woody’s Picture Shootin’ Corral used to be. The area has been transformed into her secret lair of fashion and mystery.
Her return is part of the reimagining of Pixar Place. This update is much welcome because the space was an underutilized area of Hollywood Studios for years and when it opened it still left much to be desired. In a park where space is at a premium we couldn’t understand why nothing more had been done with Pixar Place.

Most recently Pixar Place looked like Munciberg from The Incredibles. It has so much potential and we can’t wait to see what Disney does with it. There haven’t been any details yet. What the reimagined area will look like but we are assuming that it will no longer be solely devoted to The Incredibles since Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. are joining the mix. It still seems likely the area will remain a space devoted to meet and greets without an attraction of its own. Just around the corner, however, you’ll find Toy Story Midway Mania, Alien Swirling Saucers, and the ever popular Slinky Dog Dash.
The area will reopen with Edna Mode, Mr. And Mrs. INCREDIBLE, frozen, Mike and Sully very soon! Opening dates for Pixar Place have yet to be announced but it won’t be long! Edna Mode returns to her post on May 14, 2023. Whether Pixar Place opens on May14 or earlier remains to be seen. Mike and Sully are currently meeting at Walt Disney Presents but their last day in that location is April 29. It’s possible Pixar Place will be open by April 30.
