As it follows Walt Disney’s legacy and wishes, Walt Disney World Resort is ever-evolving and changing. Walt Disney Imagineering is always pushing the limits, creating bigger, better, and more immersive attractions.
Recently, EPCOT has undergone a historical transformation, taking the theme park and totally revamping what used to be ‘Future World’ into new areas: World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature.
World Nature is still receiving a new attraction as Walt Disney Imagineering puts the finishing touches on Journey of Water Inspired By Moana, which will end the Disney Park’s historical transformation.
However, there’s reason to believe that the theme park will receive more changes soon. But this time, they’ll take place in the World Showcase pavilion.

The World Showcase pavilion is the largest area in the Disney Park. It features 11 countries: the Mexico pavilion, the Norway pavilion, the China pavilion, the Germany pavilion, the Italy pavilion, The American Adventure, the Japan pavilion, the Morocco pavilion, the France pavilion, the United Kingdom pavilion, and the Canada pavilion.
Recently, new permits have been uncovered for two of these World Showcase pavilions: Mexico and The American Adventure.

The construction will be by Buena Vista Construction Company (Disney’s construction team) “to provide labor, material, and/or electrical for construction.”
The permits can be viewed here (The American Adventure) and here (Mexico).
Could changes be coming to Mexico’s Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros attraction and The American Adventure’s signature attraction? Only time will tell.
