Look, hearing “alarms and evacuation” sounds scary on paper, but this is genuinely just how Disneyland’s safety systems are built to work. The second an alarm trips inside something like Pirates of the Caribbean, lighting and ride operations respond instantly, doesn’t matter if the actual cause turns out to be serious or nothing at all. Places like Blue Bayou that sit right next to the ride often share the same alarm system, which is exactly why the restaurant got pulled into this too.
Nobody’s confirmed what actually set the alarm off in the first place. What we do know, based on everything reported, the ride’s back up and running, and there’s no word of anyone getting hurt. Ride’s operating again, zero injuries, that combo usually means whatever happened got handled fast and wasn’t a real ongoing problem.
