Attempted Kidnapping Reported in Disneyland

Disneyland is where dreams were meant to come true, and families reveled in the magic of the happiest place on Earth. However, amidst the laughter and joy, a chilling incident occurred that sent shockwaves through the park.

Disneyland is located in California and is home to two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Each Disney park offers different attractions, shows, and experiences for guests. Guests head to Disneyland to experience the magic of Disney.

Disneyland Park is the brainchild of Walt Disney himself. He created this park to bring families together and enjoy the wonder of Disney magic. Disneyland Park includes attractions such as Jungle Cruise, “it’s a small world,” Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Haunted Mansion, and many more attractions. Guests heading to Disneyland Park can view Sleeping Beauty Castle when strolling down Main Street, U.S.A.

Next door at Disney California Adventure Park, Disneyland guests can feel the need for speed over in Cars Land and experience Radiator Sprins Racers, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, or Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. Guests can also visit Pixar Pier, Grizzly Peak, and Avengers Campus. Each land includes unique attractions such as Incredicoaster, Goofy’s Sky School, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy– Mission: BREAKOUT!, and more.

With all of the exciting attractions and shows guests can experience, it should be no surprise that Disneyland is one of the most popular tourist locations in the world. Disneyland sees thousands of guests daily, and with this amount of traffic heading to the parks, guests’ tensions may rise throughout the day.

In a social media post, a Disneyland guest talks about their experience and how they almost saw a child get kidnapped. Two men were chasing a women and her stroller, which had her child in it. This all started because the woman with the stroller bumped into a family member when she could not get around them. The men decided the best way to make up for bumping into them was to try and take the stroller from her. While we are unsure how this ended, guests should remember to be respectful of others around them.

“Saw two grown men chase a woman and try to yank her stroller out of her hands (with child still in it) because she accidentally bumped into their family member when they were blocking a covered walkway because they were afraid of getting wet in the rain. Your entire rude family refused to move out of a WALKWAY and then got pissed because she didn’t have enough room to move around you. So your solution is to try and kidnap her child????? I have no idea what they were trying to accomplish there because they were well aware there was a child in the stroller (it was an umbrella stroller, so no blocked sight).”

While Disney is supposed to be the “Happiest Place on Earth,” moments that seem unmagical happen from time to time. Disney guests should be aware of their environment and be kind to others. If another guest wrongs you or harms you, find your nearest Disney Cast Member to help the situation.
