Ensuring the safety of its guests is a top priority for Disneyland Resort. Sadly, Disneyland guests have started to see the worst in guests coming out.
Disneyland Resort is known as “The Happiest Place on Earth.” Disneyland is a magical and iconic theme park destination that has captured the hearts and imaginations of people of all ages for decades. Disneyland Resort is located in Anaheim, California, and has two theme parks: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Each Disney park includes different attractions, features, and much more for Disney guests to experience.
Disneyland Park is the vision of Walt Disney, with iconic attractions such as Jungle Cruise, “it’s a small world,” Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more iconic attractions. Disneyland Park is also where guests looking to spot Sleeping Beauty Castle should head as it is the first item guests will spot after walking down Main Street, U.S.A.
Next door at Disney California Adventure Park, guests can visit different lands such as Cars Land, Pixar Pier, Grizzly Peak, and Avengers Campus. Disneyland guests can experience attractions like WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission BREAKOUT!, Radiator Springs Racers, Goofy’s Sky School, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and much more.
While all these attractions, shows, and magical moments are fun and exciting at Disneyland, moments that worry guests also happen from time to time. Disneyland guests have reported that they’ve seen behavior at an all-time low. Guests have been seen line-cutting, fighting other guests, using foul language, and being disrespectful to Disney Cast Members.
Disneyland Cast members take extensive measures to ensure guest safety. However, guests also play a vital role in their own safety. Following park rules and guidelines, paying attention to safety instructions, and being aware of one’s surroundings are essential aspects of guest responsibility. Disney Cast members receive extensive training in safety protocols and procedures. This includes emergency response, customer service, and specific ride operator training to ensure they can assist guests effectively in all situations.
In a social media post, Disneyland guests talked about the worst behavior they have experienced at Disneyland. One Disneyland guest saw a fistfight that happened in Toontown in Disneyland Park. This fight started with two families, and the guests ended up bloody, and vulgar language was used. During this fight, a woman also broke her ankle from the tracks on Main Street, U.S.A. This guest who witnessed this fight talks about how the kids were scared, and even they were. Disney security came to break the fight up and struggled to break this fight up.
“I’ll never forget the huge fist fight that broke out in Toontown. It was between two families. Blood. Vulgar language. All of it. One lady tripped and broke her ankle on the railroad tracks. Kids were scared. I even was! Security had a difficult time breaking that one up.”
Disneyland Guest caught fighting at Disneyland, while relatively rare, are unfortunate incidents that can disrupt the otherwise magical and family-friendly atmosphere of the park. Disneyland is designed to be a place where guests can escape into a world of imagination and fun, and violent altercations are certainly not what Walt Disney had in mind when he created the park.
Guests who are caught fighting on Disney property may be removed from the park, or banned. Disneyland does not tolerate guests fighting at the parks.
