Disney World Confirms Historic Price Hike as 2027 Ticket Surpasses $300
Visiting Walt Disney World can quickly eat through a family budget, and the latest prices for 2027 aren’t going to make planning any easier.
Disney has released ticket prices for November and December 2027, revealing what guests can expect to pay during some of the most popular weeks on the calendar.
The new numbers bring record-high prices to multiple parks. But regular admission isn’t where things get especially eye-opening.
One popular ticket upgrade pushes the cost of a single day beyond a barrier Disney World guests haven’t faced before.
For families traveling together, that could turn one day at Disney World into a four-figure expense before adding food, a hotel, Lightning Lane access, merchandise, or anything else.

Disney World Tickets Already Take a Big Bite Out of the Budget
Disney World ticket prices aren’t one-size-fits-all.
The resort uses date-based pricing, meaning the price of a one-day ticket changes based on both the date and the park a guest chooses.
In 2026, Magic Kingdom tickets range from $139 to $209 before tax. Disney’s Hollywood Studios ranges from $139 to $204, while EPCOT ranges from $129 to $209.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom remains the least expensive option, with one-day tickets ranging from $119 to $184.
For families, those prices multiply quickly.
If four people each purchase a $209 Magic Kingdom ticket, they’re already spending more than $800 before taxes. That gets them through the gate, but it doesn’t cover the many other expenses that can come with a Disney World trip.
And in late 2027, the maximum ticket price will climb even higher.

Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Reach Record Highs
The newly released November and December 2027 calendar gives guests a look at the next ceiling for Disney World admission.
Magic Kingdom will reach $229 for a one-day ticket on its most expensive dates.
EPCOT will hit that same $229 peak, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reach $214. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will remain the cheapest park at the top end, reaching $189.
Those increases can become significant when a family purchases several tickets, especially during the busy holiday season.
But guests who want more flexibility during their park day can face an even bigger number.

One Popular Ticket Pushes the Price Past $300
Park Hopper access allows guests to visit multiple Disney World theme parks on the same day.
In late 2027, that flexibility will come with a striking price on the most expensive date.
A regular one-day Park Hopper ticket will reach $301 after taxes.
For a family of four purchasing those tickets, the total could surpass $1,200 for a single day of admission.
Of course, that doesn’t mean everyone visiting Disney World in 2027 will pay more than $300 per day. Multi-day tickets work differently: the effective daily price drops as guests purchase additional days.
Still, a one-day Disney World Park Hopper crossing the $300 mark is a significant new threshold.
Frequent visitors are also seeing higher prices. All four Annual Pass tiers will also face price hikes, adding another consideration for guests who visit year-round.
The Vacation Bill Doesn’t Stop at Admission
Tickets may get guests into the parks, but they’re only one part of what families have to budget for.
Hotels, food, drinks, transportation, merchandise, and optional extras can add considerably more to the final total. Families who purchase Lightning Lane access to reduce their time in standby lines have another expense to consider.
There could also be further price changes before late 2027.
Disney regularly adjusts prices across the resort, so hotel rooms, Lightning Lane options, meals, beverages, and merchandise may also increase in cost.
A small increase in one category might not change a family’s plans. Several increases happening across the same vacation can have a much larger effect.

2027 Will Give Families New Reasons to Visit
Higher prices aren’t arriving without new experiences on the horizon.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will welcome Pueblo Esperanza, while portions of Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also give guests something new to experience.
For families, however, the question becomes whether those additions justify the rising cost of a trip.
Some guests may respond by staying fewer days, purchasing fewer park tickets, skipping Lightning Lane access, or choosing an off-property hotel. Others could decide the vacation no longer fits comfortably within their budgets.
A $301 one-day Park Hopper won’t represent what every guest pays. But it demonstrates how expensive a single day at Disney World can be.
Disney will have new experiences waiting in 2027. Families will have to decide how much they’re willing to spend to see them.
