This is truly every parent’s worst nightmare.

Having a child means that you have to be extra aware of another person’s safety at all times. Parents are responsible for protecting their children from anything harmful. It is easy to become anxious about the safety of a child, especially at the hands of others. When it comes to toys, parents look to the brands that they trust to protect their children from harm. Disney has been a trusted brand for families for generations, as their toys are usually very child safe. Unfortunately, that is not the case in a recent Disney product that was released.

The Walt Disney Company Releases Dangerous Toy

There are many things to consider when buying a toy for your young child. Things like small detachable parts, sharp ends, exposed batteries, and toxic materials are all reasons to give Parents caution before purchasing. Unfortunately, in some cases, parents are unable to tell that a product could be life-threatening.

That is exactly what happened with a new Disney toy that has just been recalled. The toy in question is a Disney 2-in-2 outdoor child swing. These children’s swings are meant to be the perfect toy for a young child, but unfortunately, that is not the case. Around 43,380 units of the swing have been recalled due to major concerns over a falling hazard. The Disney swing is made by Delta Enterprise Corporation.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Paw Patrol Swings Recalled

The swings were recalled after it was reported that the plastic straps on top of the swings were breaking. Delta Enterprise Corporation made the swings for children between the ages of nine months and four years old who weigh less than 50 pounds.

As you can imagine, the news of this recall is startling for parents who were putting their babies and toddlers into these swings. While there have been numerous reports of the straps breaking, thankfully no reports of children being hurt have been made. If you or someone you know purchased this swing online or at Walmart, please stop using it and email Recall@deltachildren.com  right away.
