The name on the order ticket didn’t match the child’s name but instead read “nig31.” The guest, whose son is biracial, expressed concerns, stating, “I can’t help but feel the cashier did this intentionally—and possibly out of racism.” Despite the distressing discovery, the guest reported that the staff did not offer an apology or any attempt to correct the name on the receipt.
The situation worsened when the guest’s son, after receiving his meal, politely requested to have the carrots removed since he didn’t like them. The guest’s oldest son later overheard the workers at the pickup counter openly talking about how they were happy to be rude to the family. They called them “nasty and rude,” unaware that one of the family members was standing nearby, hearing the conversation.
