Woman Allegedly Used Disney’s Tomorrowland as Base For Sex Work

Disney theme parks would not be the magical places they are without the cast members who work there.

Whether it be Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disney, Tokyo Disney, or Shanghai Disney, each cast member works their hardest every single day. Cast members keep the parks sparkling clean, they help guests in need, they operate the rides, cook the food, and everything else in between.

Walt Disney World Resort has been open for more than 50 years, and Disneyland Resort has been open for nearly 70! Over those decades, cast members have seen a lot of wonderful moments, along with a lot of wild and crazy things.

But one cast member shared a story of something they saw that might just be the craziest.

A former cast member claimed that they were working as a sweeper at Disneyland in the 1980s. During that time, they were cleaning areas of Tomorrowland when they saw a woman talk to a gentleman and then walk off with him.

According to the claim, the woman came back later, and spoke to another gentleman. That repeated several times, leading the cast member to conclude that the woman was using the Disneyland Park area for her job as a sex worker.

The cast member said:

“I was a sweeper in Disneyland back in the early 1980s. We would get assigned an area and you would just circle through it. I was working Tomorrowland near the monorail station (which went to the Disneyland Hotel across the street.) I saw a nice looking woman there who would strike up a conversation with a man, and then they would go get on the monorail. An hour later she would be back and strike up a conversation with another man and off they would go. I suppose she made a pretty good living finding lonely guys to entertain in her own magical way.”

It is very interesting to think that a guest would be able to get away with such “extracurricular” activities while visiting “The Happiest Place on Earth.” And it definitely seems impossible for guests to attempt that sort of behavior in today’s day and age.

Disney has cameras everywhere, and there is likely no place a couple could sneak away to where they would have enough privacy and not be seen by a cast member.

Numerous guests have reportedly attempted to get away with some hanky-panky while on dark attractions like Haunted Mansion. If that happens, cast members will typically send a message over the intercom system, letting the guests know that they are being recorded, and they are being watched.

Should guests get caught doing something that they are ABSOLUTELY not allowed to do in the parks, there is a high likelihood that a cast member will call Disney security.

The rule-breaking guests will then be escorted from the park and most likely banned from visiting any Disney park in the near future.

Have you ever seen guests engaging, or attempting to engage in, that kind of activity while at the theme parks? Have you ever heard a cast member give a warning about it? Let us know in the comments!
