Children…cover your eyes now!

For the most part, Disney Parks are known as magical places where guests of all ages can enjoy wholesome, family-friendly experiences. For generations, parents have entrusted the highly trained cast members and Disney Imagineers to provide attractions and offerings that are completely appropriate for all ages. While, for the most part, Disney excels at this, unfortunate incidents can easily “ruin the magic” at any given time.

When Things Go Wrong at Disney

Despite being labeled as such by millions of adoring fans, Disney is not perfect. Cast members work diligently to keep the theme parks and resorts as happy and wholesome places, but evidently, incidents can take place that disrupt the ideal Disney day.

Some common occurrences that ruin magic could be bad weather, long lines, or ride breakdowns. Other times, Guests face the bad behavior of other Disney guests, such as last week’s streaker at Disneyland Resort. Rude guests who exhibit disruptive or illegal behavior are unfortunately not as uncommon as we would hope. However, sometimes, a day is derailed by something a little more unusual, such as the recent incident that happened with one of Disney’s iconic princesses.

Of all the Disney Princesses, none is more iconic than the first, Snow White. Many fans go to Walt Disney World Resort with high hopes of meeting Snow White and experiencing her incredible attraction, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Not only can Snow White fans catch a glimpse of their beloved princess on the ride, but they can also immerse themselves in the enchanting world of the Snow White (1937) film. As visitors make their way to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, they are transported into a whimsical world straight out of the beloved fairytale. The attraction combines cutting-edge technology with impeccable storytelling, creating a truly immersive experience for guests of all ages. However, even this incredible ride can encounter some shocking (and somewhat comical) roadblocks.

Princess Loses Arm in Bizarre Accident

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, another fan-made TikTok goes viral. Disney guest Kira Haas was visiting Magic Kingdom Park to celebrate her friend’s 28th birthday at the Disney Park when a truly unusual sight was unveiled before their eyes. As they took out their phones to take a selfie on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Attraction, they managed to capture something quite a bit more unsettling: Snow White dancing with her arm ripped off. Kira told Fox35,

“Immediately, we noticed that something was not quite right and Snow White’s arm was not attached to her body and, um, having my phone out at the right opportune moment, I was like, ‘Yes!’”

The video has since amassed hundreds of thousands of views on the TikTok app.

While this video may be hilarious for some, others can imagine that this sight would be incredibly traumatizing for a child to see. Thankfully, Kira and her group told a cast member what they saw so that the situation could be addressed. We hope that Snow White is feeling better as she heals from this brutal accident.

  1. If an animatronic without an arm traumatizes a kid, then there are some deeper issues with the kid especially in this day and age with all they are exposed too. This fiction that some people cling too that we live in the 50s or even 80s is just crazy.
