Visiting the Disneyland Resort in Southern California can be a truly magical experience — from walking down the same Main Street, U.S.A. that Walt Disney did, to eating a homemade corn dog to riding classics like King Arthur Carrousel, there is just so much to enjoy. However, as with any vacation, there may be some hiccups along the way. Maybe the ride you wanted to go on broke down, or a piece of merchandise you wanted is sold out, things happen.

For one Guest, something completely unexpected happened to her and her family at the end of a very long day, and her mother was less-than-thrilled with how it was handled by Cast Members at the Happiest Place on Earth.
According to TikToker arihair26, they had just left Disneyland after a long day and were taking one of the parking garage elevators up to their car. Unfortunately, the elevator got stuck for almost 40 minutes. Her mother tried numerous times to open the door, but then had to take out her cellphone and call for help. In the video, voices can be heard asking if everyone is alright and letting them know that they will be let out as soon as possible.

Thankfully, crews were finally able to open the doors, but when the group stepped off, a Cast Member tried to tell them that they would all be getting Mickey stickers, which did not sit well with the TikToker’s mother. The TikTokker was also with her younger brother, who, the mother informed the Cast Members, was terrified because they were stuck for so long. The video cuts there.

While instances like this do not happen often, when they do, immediately press the emergency button. That will let the powers-that-be know that there is an issue. From there, they will help you get out of the situation as quickly and safely as possible. However, it is understandable that the Guests were not thrilled with the offer of a mickey sticker that you can get for free in almost any store at any time.
