After an extended hiatus, Wade Wilson is back and ready to unleash his signature wit, sarcasm, and fourth-wall-breaking humor once again.

Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as the lovable yet unconventional anti-hero, bringing his impeccable comedic timing and charm to the screen. Fans can expect to see the return of Wade’s unapologetic nature, outrageous antics, and epic fight scenes that made the first two Deadpool films such a hit.

If the trailer, seen here as shared by Fandom Wire on X, is any indication, not only are Deadpool fans in for a wild ride, much like its predecessors, it’ll also be a raunchy one. This marks a new era for Disney, who acquired Deadpool and the X-Men in a multibillion-dollar deal a few years ago with 21st Century Fox.

Disney, typically a family-friendly entertainment option, has dipped its toes in the water for some time, presenting more mature subject matter through its Marvel and Star Wars arms, but now, they’re going full monty, as Deadpool’s very nature is X-Rated.

‘Deadpool 3’ Marvel Studios Collaboration

In probably the most exciting development, Deadpool 3 will mark the character’s official integration into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

As seen in the trailer and later further confirmed by Miss Minutes herself, Deadpool will find himself in the TVA, introduced to the MCU through the Disney+ hit Loki (2021). If you’ll remember, I told readers back in August that Google may have leaked Tom Hiddleston as a cast member for Deadpool 3 *pats himself on the back.*

This crossover opens up a world of possibilities for new alliances, clashes, and cameos (which we’ve already seen in the trailer) that fans have long dreamed of. Under the guidance of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, the inclusion of Deadpool in the MCU is set to add a fresh dynamic to the superhero universe.

Following the brief nod to the Deadpool 3 trailer that premiered during the Super Bowl, fans were already expecting an official crossover, but after viewing the official full-length video, we all now know that our favorite foul-mouthed mercenary is coming to the MCU!

A Glimpse into the New Adventure

The Super Bowl ad for Deadpool 3 didn’t give us much, but the actual full-length trailer hinted at new adventures ahead for the Ryan Reynolds character. Not only did we see the TVA, but eagle-eyed fans also noticed images of famous Avengers like Captain America, Hulk, and Thor playing on the screens.

While details about the plot of Deadpool 3 have been kept tightly under wraps, the trailer promises to give viewers a tantalizing taste of what’s to come.

Whether it’s a new nemesis, a newfound purpose, or unexpected alliances, Wade Wilson’s journey will indeed be filled with surprises. Brace yourself for an action-packed ride that seamlessly blends heart-stopping moments with hilarious dialogue and unexpected twists.

However, we do know that Hugh Jackman, famously known for his role as Wolverine, will be a huge part of the third Deadpool film. Still, there are plenty of rumors regarding other previous Marvel characters making a fresh appearance alongside Deadpool.

Some believe that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra, while others feel that even Thanos could make his way back to face off against the self-proclaimed “Marvel Jesus.”

‘Deadpool 3’ Crossover Possibilities are Endless

The MCU is currently in a state of flux. With Secret Wars, twerking Hulk attorneys, Eternals (2021), and multiverses, who knows what could happen in the future?

However, that’s the beauty of Deadpool. The charismatic, smart-mouthed assassin could fit well within just about the storyline line that Marvel Studios could produce.

As Ryan Reynolds is highly dedicated to the character, and fans anticipate a full introduction of X-Men like Negasonic Teenage Warhead into the MCU, plenty of crossover possibilities exist.

We’ve already seen this play out with films like 2022’s Multiverse of Madness, in which Patrick Stewart and John Krasinki brought popular Marvel comic characters like Professor Xavier and Reed Richards into the MCU.

This is one of the most exciting aspects of Deadpool 3: the potential for character crossovers. The integration into the MCU and the potential for characters like Doctor Doom opens doors for appearances from beloved Marvel characters, such as Captain America, Deadpool’s comedic foil, or even the elusive Wolverine.

The possibilities are endless, and fans can’t help but speculate on which superheroes and anti-heroes will cross paths with the Merc with a Mouth.
