Universal Orlando Resort has always prioritized thrills and chills. As opposed to Walt Disney World, which prioritizes family-friendly entertainment, Universal focuses more on what’ll thrill visitors more than anything.

Whether crafting an immersive dark ride or a fast-moving roller coaster, Universal Orlando Resort has quickly become one of Walt Disney World’s biggest competitors, and with good reason.
While Magic Kingdom offers Space Mountain, TRON: Lightcycle Run, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Universal’s Islands of Adventure offers so much more in the way of thrills.

After all, Magic Kingdom’s coasters could never compare with Universal’s Incredible Hulk Coaster, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, or Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. And that’s just Islands of Adventure!
Universal Studios Florida also offers thrills and chills that Walt Disney World simply can’t compete with. However, one of the most thrilling attractions in the theme park recently received some sort of update.

In this Tweet, Twitter user @Bioreconstruct (one of the best theme park photographers around) snapped a photo of Universal Studios’ Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster.
He points out that the attraction received some maintenance, and that some of the graphic design has been removed from the top of the attraction’s lift hill.

At this time, we have no idea why these graphics were removed, nor if they’ll be returned anytime soon.
That being said, we do know that Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is still operating as usual, according to the official Universal Orlando Resort app.
