Finding a spot for EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular doesn’t have to be the final task of the evening anymore — at least for guests willing to pay for a new premium dining experience.
A new fireworks package is coming to the Japan Pavilion this fall, and reservations are officially open.
Beginning October 2, 2026, Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya will offer its Fireworks Dining Package, pairing Japanese food with Luminous: The Symphony of Us.
It’s a way to turn the end of an EPCOT day into one planned experience rather than treating dinner and fireworks as two separate events.
But before booking, guests will want to look closely at what they’re getting for the price.
Dinner and Fireworks Come Together at Shiki-Sai
World Showcase offers plenty of options for dinner, but location can become especially important later in the evening.
Guests who want to see Luminous sometimes have to balance their dining reservations against when and where they want to watch the show.
Shiki-Sai’s new package changes that equation.
Guests receive an 8 p.m. seating at the restaurant, putting the meal right before the nighttime spectacular over World Showcase Lagoon.
The menu centers heavily around the restaurant’s Japanese offerings.
Each package includes an appetizer, traditional sashimi, and an extensive sushi selection. Guests will also get an exclusive dessert and beverages unavailable through the regular experience.
That makes this more than simply paying for a fireworks location. Dinner remains a major part of the package, so guests will probably get the most value if they’re already fans of sushi and sashimi.
One Adult Will Pay Nearly $150
Price could be the deciding factor for many guests.
Disney has priced the experience at $120 per adult before tax and gratuity. Once those are added, the total reaches $149.50.
Children cost $60 before tax and gratuity, with the final price reaching $74.70.
For two adults, that’s $299. Add two children, and the total climbs to $448.40.
That’s a significant addition to the cost of an EPCOT day, especially for families already paying for park tickets, food, merchandise, and potentially Lightning Lane access.
The good news is that purchasing this package isn’t required to watch Luminous.
Guests can still find public viewing locations around World Showcase Lagoon and enjoy the nighttime spectacular as part of their regular park admission.
The Shiki-Sai package is simply another choice for guests willing to spend more for a different experience.
Booking Ahead Could Be Important
Anyone who already knows they want to try the package should consider making a reservation in advance.
While limited same-day reservations may be available, those aren’t guaranteed.
Advance reservations are highly recommended, meaning guests shouldn’t arrive expecting to simply walk into Shiki-Sai and purchase the fireworks experience that evening.
Disney Dining Plans also aren’t accepted.
That means even guests who have already paid for a dining plan will need to budget separately for this particular meal.
EPCOT’s New Package Begins October 2
The first Shiki-Sai Fireworks Dining Package reservations begin October 2, bringing the experience to EPCOT just as the fall season gets underway.
At $120 per adult before tax and gratuity, this clearly isn’t designed as the budget-friendly way to watch Luminous.
Instead, its appeal comes from combining several parts of an EPCOT evening into one reservation.
Guests can sit down for sushi and sashimi, try package-exclusive dessert and beverages, and work the nighttime spectacular directly into their dinner plans.
Whether that’s worth nearly $150 per adult will depend on the guest.
But for anyone who has been hoping for another way to pair EPCOT dining with Luminous, reservations are officially available.
