Wendy’s, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, where are all the fast food options at Disney World?
Food at Disney World is probably one of the most important aspects of a vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth. As Disney operates with almost complete sovereignty, something that is lacking around Disney World is unique, convenient, and affordable fast food options.
Although you’ll find plenty of quick service and table service options scattered throughout Disney World’s four theme parks, Disney Springs, and at their resort hotels, you’ll only find a McDonald’s when that late-night hunger strikes.
Of course, that isn’t a knock at McDonald’s; we all love a good Big Mac, but more variety in fast food options without venturing down I-4 into Orlando would be greatly appreciated at Walt Disney World.
This sentiment is shared by many who’ve found themselves looking for a quick bite at a reasonable price as they make their way to Magic Kingdom for rope drop.
Picky Eaters Prefer Fast Food
You could always grab a bite at Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or EPCOT, as they are host to several dining options that you’re sure to love. However, some families carry with them the burden of picky eaters.

Anyone with toddlers will know what I’m talking about. Some children and adults will only eat certain foods if they come from a specific location. This could be chicken fries from Burger King, nuggets from McDonald’s, or cheese sticks from Sonic.
There’s no deviation. In my case, it was Chick-fil-A biscuits for breakfast.
Like most people from the south, I enjoy an excellent weekend breakfast from Chick-fil-A, complete with a fluffy biscuit, hash browns, and a sweet tea.
My toddler agreed so wholeheartedly that is all he would eat for weeks, making trips anywhere difficult! Many families have experienced the same issue.
Chick-fil-A: A Blockbuster Fast Food Service
If you’ve never experienced the glory that is Chick-fil-A, you’re missing out. Although the company has found itself in the crosshairs of progressive movements, you can’t deny that the demand for their chicken remains high.

Chick-fil-A started in 1946 in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville. Originally called The Dwarf House, it became the fast food chain we all know and love once founder S. Truett Cathy opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Shopping Center in 1967.
It remains one of the highest-grossing fast food stores ever, proliferating throughout the United States, with expansions planned for Europe and Asia soon.
Lines are always long, and much like what we’re accustomed to at Walt Disney World, their customer service is unmatched.
Disney World and Chick-fil-A: A Match Made in Heaven
Although Chick-fil-A’s original chicken sandwich and waffle fries are their biggest draw, you can’t start your full park day without breakfast. If Chick-fil-A had a restaurant on property in Orlando, the start to a perfect Disney day would almost always begin with a chicken biscuit, chicken minis, and hash browns.
The quality of ingredients used at Chick-fil-A stores in North America is unmatched, making its original chicken sandwich one of the most beloved fast food menu items out there. If you don’t believe it, go check out the line in your local Chick-fil-A drive-thru right now; it’s most likely wrapped around the block!
Like Starbucks at Disney World, Chick-fil-A, despite its affiliation with Christian theology, would perform well within the park or if located elsewhere on Walt Disney World property. As there are some who choose to stay in Disney’s 43 square-mile property once they arrive, having access to Chick-fil-A without relying on traveling into Orlando or DoorDash would be welcomed by most.
Another aspect that sets Chick-fil-A apart from its fast-food counterparts is its customer service. Priding itself on providing an enjoyable experience that keeps you coming back is something Disney fans are accustomed to already. Much like Disney World, Chick-fil-A has no qualms with going above and beyond for their guest, ensuring that their experience is a delightful one.
An Inexpensive Option When Hunger Pangs Begin
Sure, there’s better food to be had at Walt Disney World. We don’t disagree there, but Chick-fil-A is also unmatched when it comes to price. Chick-fil-A has been able to keep its menu prices the same in a world that is currently experiencing a large influx in the cost of everyday goods. An original chicken sandwich costs around $3.05, while a Mickey Waffle at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom costs $6.49. It’s just cheaper and, in many cases, better tasting.
Chick-fil-A Fits Right In
With humble beginnings 400 miles north of Orlando, Chick-fil-A has become a Southern tradition. Many enjoy their breakfast along with Starbucks each morning on their way to work. Others choose to exclusively stick to the restaurant when choosing catering for large-scale events. In the south, Chick-fil-A is king.
Although Disney World sees guests from all over the world, the Chick-fil-A experience would most certainly be enjoyed by many. Having the chain on the property at Disney World would not only equate to massive sales, but it would allow many traveling to the resort a chance to try the world-famous chicken sandwiches and waffle fries.
Bringing the restaurant chain to Disney property would also be another way to fund and encourage Cast Members employed at the fast-food joint. Chick-fil-A offers the opportunity for education and trade through various scholarship programs, heightening the skill set of its employees.
This is a big reason as to why local communities get so excited when Chick-fil-A announces a store opening in their area. However, the most exciting aspect of the chicken spot is their great food.
Of course, the biggest drawback to having a Chick-fil-A on Disney World property would be that they are closed on Sundays. Keeping to Christian tradition, the business chooses not to operate on Sundays, allowing employees to rest, refresh, or honor the Sabbath.
However, if a Chick-fil-A popped up at Walt Disney World, their lobbies and drive-thrus would be full every other day of the week.
Would you be excited to see a Chick-fil-A and Disney World partnership? Let us know in the comments.
Absolutely the F not. Chick Fil A is is homophonic and goes against Disney’s standards for equity. Also their policy of not opening on Sundays bc they’re religious is a complete non starter.
Sorry. Until the day that f+^}ing chick place donates money for diversity and welcome gays by not preaching hate, I won’t even give them a first thought.
It’s shameful if Disney allows them on premises.
WOW! Talk about HATE???? I can see you don’t have any mirrors.
Right on Barry, that’s darker than the pot calling the kettle,,, shame,,, first to throw stones, then first to complain when they are in the hot seat… It’s ok to have an option or a stand, unless it does not agree with theirs. then darn the torpedoes and all is war, whether fair or not. I would love to see them in there.
Are you serious? Disney is known for being inclusive. Chik Fil A is know for paying for conversion therapy. ITS A TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE IDEA!
Absolutely would LOVE the idea.. It’s a shame people wont research and just lies posted by news. We have gay young men and women working here in Alabama at our chic fil a. They donate money to many places, and many places including all FF places pay for all types of therapies. … BUT YES.. would be a a great partnership.
Absolutely not
There is a Chik Fil A at Busch Gardens Tampa, Fl.
Don’t think Disney will have one also.
Yes. It’s all propaganda and widespread lies as they employ many gay people
No I do not want a chick fil a near Disney much less in Disney. Their chicken may taste good but it is not good for you. Check out what is in their chicken and their milkshakes don’t even have ice cream in them.
Yes! I love Chick-fil-A! I think it would be a Great addition to Disney!
Disney used to server Mcdonald’s till the mid 2000s then they want for their own healthier options.
Never!!
