After months and months of waiting, Disney’s newest immersive experience is less than one week away from opening. The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser has been all some fans could talk about since Disney announced it back in 2019. The Galactic Starcruiser experience will last two days and be completely immersive, with Guests living onboard the ship — called the Halcyon. Guests will have schedules full of exciting things like lightsaber training and a ship will even take them to Batuu, the planet created for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
With the Galactic Starcruiser experience opening in Walt Disney World a matter of days, Disney is giving fans a more in-depth look at the Halcyon and what Guests will be able to do onboard than they ever have before. Not only is the ship something never seen before, but so is the food. There will be a number of unique eats that you will only be able to get on board, like the blue shrimp and smoking cheeses.
There will also be a variety of Starcruiser merchandise that can only be purchased on the ship. Guests will be able to purchase things like jewelry and backpacks, but also outfits that will make them truly look like a part of the Star Wars universe. In a press release, Disney shared more exciting information about the merchandise that will be available:
