Brie Larson And Michelle Yeoh Go Viral After Dancing On Chairs At A Party In France

The Cannes Film Festival has a way of bringing everyone who’s anyone together in a celebration of cinema. It’s also known for some pretty great after-parties. Big names like Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford, Elle Fanning, and more graced the red carpet this week in France. While the star-studded luxury parties are full of the potential for viral moments, one fan-favorite interaction stands out from the rest.

Brie Larson and Michelle Yeoh, two powerhouse actresses associated with The Walt Disney Company, were clearly living their best lives one night at a dinner after the film screenings.

Brie Larson is best recognized under the Disney umbrella as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Captain Marvel. Introduced in her solo film Captain Marvel (2019), Carol Danvers is known to team up with the Avengers and use her powers to save the universe. She stars in the much-anticipated sequel The Marvels, set to premiere in theaters this November!

Michelle Yeoh is most recently known for her Best Actress Academy Award win for her role in Everything Everywhere At At Once (2022). Disney fans are looking forward to seeing her star in the new Disney+ series, American Born Chinese, which starts streaming tomorrow! The series is a coming-of-age story where a teenager gets thrown into the throng of Chinese mythological gods.

Larson and Yeoh found each other on the dance floor during Kering’s 2023 Women in Motion dinner.

The ladies literally are standing on their chairs in excitement as they freestyle dance to the live saxophone! Yeoh shows off her long white gloves with a champagne glass in hand. This is what it must be like to live like a true goddess. Larson matches her energy and takes out her phone for a moment to record the magical atmosphere.

Both ladies shared their admiration for each other and their dance connection the next day on their personal Instagram accounts. Larson posted the video with the caption, “Dancing with THE QUEEN @michelleyeoh_official at the Women in Motion Dinner.” Michelle posted the video as well, saying, “So happy to meet @brielarson finally and we had so much fun last night.”
