For years, it seemed like there was no closer father-daughter duo than country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter, Miley. The two spent years working together and supporting each other every single day on the hit Disney Channel show Hannah Montana.
Of course, Billy Ray Cyrus was famous well before the Hannah Montana years. He was a country singer known for the hit song “Achy Breaky Heart,” but his time on the Disney Channel shot him to superstardom once again.

Sadly, their once close relationship is now just a pile of ashes, and it might not be able to be fixed.
Back in February, Miley won the Grammy for Record of the Year. When she walked onto the stage, and thanked the people who had been there and supported her, her father’s name was not mentioned. The speech immediately made fans wonder if the actress/singer was not in a good place with her father.

In a later interview with David Letterman, the Hannah Montana star also called her mother her hero and said that she inherited her narcissism from her father.
And now, disturbing new text messages and audio have all but confirmed Miley and Billy Ray are not in a good place.
The country singer is currently embroiled in a nasty divorce from his third wife, Australian singer Firerose. The 37-year-old singer has claimed that Cyrus, 62, was extremely abusive during their 7-month marriage — and the audio recordings and text messages seem to support her claims.

The Daily Mail was the first to report on the leaked audio:
During the confrontation, which appears to be sparked by Billy Ray’s fury at being made too late to go on stage for a show, he warns her: ‘If you had just left it the f**k alone, now I’m really f**king p***ed, once again showing you will not listen.
‘I don’t know who the f**k you think you are, but you will not listen…this ain’t about nothing this is about you being a selfish f**king b***h.’
As she [Firerose] begs him to ‘please stop shouting’, he tells her: ‘This would not be happening if you had just shut your f**king mouth. Look what a f**king mess you’ve made.
‘What a dumb ass [you are] …’cos you have to know I will not tolerate that s**t. You just f**ked up…f**k you. You know better than that. F**king idiot.’

For some reason, Cyrus’s anger extended to his ex-wife — and Miley’s mother — Tish Cyrus, and Miley herself.
In other audio heard by DailyMail.com Billy Ray bizarrely speaks of himself in the third person before turning his attention to his daughter, Miley, and uttering the shocking statement: ‘Everyone knows that devil’s a skank.’
He is equally dismissive and derisory of Tish, his former wife of more than 30 years and the mother of three of his biological children – Miley, 31, Braison, 30 and Noah, 24 – whom he also never refers to by name but instead calls, ‘s**t.’

As if the audio recordings were not enough, Cyrus also blasted Tish in a series of text messages. He said unkind things about her having two children before they met and married. However, it should be noted that Billy Ray Cyrus also had a child with his first wife when he met Tish.
In one shocking text exchange with his manager and publicist Scott Adkins, viewed by DailyMail.com, Billy Ray says of Tish: ‘She is a liar…a w***e…and a cheat. Complete skank. Scum of the earth. A fraud.’

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Cyrus appeared to defend his actions. He did not deny what he said, and said that he was at his “wit’s end”. He did not say why he chose to attack his ex-wife and daughter.
“Hell yeah I was at my wit’s end. As every day went by, I started realizing something was wrong. And that’s before I knew she was a fraud. I just knew something wasn’t right. That was before I knew she was David Hodges ex-wife. That’s before I knew her parents last name.”

Shortly after the audio recordings and messages were leaked, Miley took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared pictures of her with her mother. The two have not publicly responded to the demeaning and disturbing messages and audio.
