Fired ABC News Anchor Reportedly Having “Second Thoughts” After Making Huge Move
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes first gained public attention as co-anchors during the ABC News pandemic series in 2020. Their undeniable chemistry made them a popular duo, prompting ABC to establish them as hosts for the spinoff show GMA3: What You Need to Know.
However, their professional relationship took a scandalous turn in November 2022 when their affair was revealed, leading to intense media scrutiny and eventual terminations from their positions at ABC just a few months later. At the time photos of the pair first became public, Amy Robach was married to actor Andrew Shue, and T.J. Holmes was married to lawyer Marilee Fiebig.

Nearly a year after their departure from ABC, Holmes and Robach unveiled their new podcast, Amy & T.J., which quickly gained popularity. By September of this year, they had launched their own daily news program.
Since their relationship came to light, everything appeared to be going well for the couple. On their podcast, they shared that they faced some tough times after their firing, but they learned to lean on one another for support.
However, a recent report suggests that the honeymoon phase for the duo may be coming to an end.

In September 2023, Robach and Holmes revealed that they had recently moved in together. This significant decision was influenced in part by a domestic issue involving Robach’s 21-year-old daughter, Ava, whom she shares with her ex, Tim McIntosh. In search of a better living situation away from a roach-infested apartment nearby, Robach wanted to provide her daughter with a stable home.
At first, both Robach and Holmes embraced their new living arrangement, claiming it was advantageous for their hectic morning routines. Holmes mentioned that sharing an apartment made for a more seamless start to their days, allowing them to cater to each other’s needs as partners. They balanced their parenting responsibilities with personal adjustments, which Robach referred to as a “trial run.”
Insiders who spoke to RadarOnline.com said that Robach is now being “plagued by second thoughts” after moving in with her longtime partner.
Sources close to the pair say Robach is having “second thoughts” about the decision to move in together, adding: “The new living arrangement hasn’t been as seamless as either hoped.”
“Moving in is a huge step and it’s proving to be quite an adjustment for both of them.”
“With their big personalities, the tension is starting to build!”
When Mr. Holmes and Ms. Robach initially revealed that they were cohabitating, they shared that things were going well, with their only dispute revolving around the apartment’s temperature.

Recent posts on Amy Robach’s Instagram indicate that their relationship is still flourishing. She recently shared photos of them both running in the Chicago Marathon. Unfortunately, Holmes suffered an injury just a few miles from the finish line, but they are excited about participating in the New York City Marathon on November 3.
Moreover, she also posted snapshots of the couple enjoying a Georgia Bulldogs football game together.
