Adventures By Disney Guests Must Be Vaccinated. Negative COVID Tests Will No Longer Be Accepted

Adventures by Disney

Going to a Disney theme park or taking a Disney Cruise is a truly magical experience for many people. But did you know that you can also visit incredible places like Buckingham Palace or the pyramids of Giza with some of that same Disney magic? Adventures by Disney provides families with guided tours of some of the most famous landmarks both domestic and international. They even recently announced that they would be venturing to the Galápagos Islands, the arctic, and Antarctica beginning in 2023!

Currently, all Guests taking an Adventures by Disney trip must either be vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the trip. However, that will soon be changing, and Adventures will require that all Guests be vaccinated.

Here is what the Adventures by Disney website states in its Health and Safety section.

For departures before January 12, 2022, all Guests must be fully vaccinated before joining any trip, or provide proof a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 5 days prior to the start of the trip. Certain destinations may require COVID-19 vaccination due to country entry requirements. Adventures by Disney requires all Guests to be fully vaccinated for travel to countries identified as Level 3 in the CDC’s Travel Recommendations by Destination.

For departures beginning on or after January 12, 2022, all Guests must provide proof of being fully vaccinated before joining any trip. For departures beginning on or after January 12, 2022, proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result will no longer be accepted as an alternative.

In consideration of guidance from the CDC, Adventures by Disney accepts the following vaccine types: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines fully vaccinated as 14 days after receiving:

  • a single-dose of an accepted 1-dose vaccine
  • the second dose of an accepted 2-dose vaccine

All Guests must submit test results or proof of vaccination to The Anvil Group within 24 hours prior to the start of the trip. For guests sailing on a PONANT expedition cruise, both a negative COVID-19 test and proof of vaccination must be submitted prior to the start of the trip. Anvil is Adventure by Disney’s third-party partner for conducting health assessments and verifying proof of COVID-19 vaccination and testing. More information about this process will be provided prior to departure.

Adventures by Disney also requires all Guests to wear masks while indoors, regardless of their vaccination status. Masks must only be worn outdoors if required by the local area Adventures by Disney is visiting. Adventures by Disney will provide all Guests with appropriate face coverings prior to their trip and Guests must wear those face coverings and not ones that they bring themselves.
What do you think of Adventures by Disney requiring all Guests to be vaccinated?
