Disney World is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth.” However, Guests do not want to get on their “bad” side. Walt Disney World Resort has four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Across the country in Anaheim, CA, Disneyland Resort is home two of its theme parks in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

If a Guest at Disney World or Disneyland violates the Park’s rules and policies, they may be banned from the park. This can include behavior such as violence, theft, or harassment towards other Guests or Cast Members, as well as violating park regulations such as bringing prohibited items into the Park.

If a Guest is banned, they will be escorted off the property and their information will be recorded to prevent them from re-entering the Park in the future. The length of the ban can vary depending on the severity of the offense, but typically it is indefinite.

Being a celebrity can get you special privileges. Celebrities heading to Disney World Park or Disneyland Resort can use VIP access to get around the Parks without waiting in lines. Some celebrities– like Kim Kardashian or Kylie Jenner, for example– that are seen in Disney World or Disneyland are known for causing a stir, like closing down attractions just for them, or some have been spotted with stroller wagons which are not allowed in Disney Parks.

However, there have been instances where an A-list celebrity shared that they have been banned or kicked out of Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort.  For example, Disney Dining previously covered that Rebel Wilson was banned from Disneyland for 30 days after taking an inappropriate bathroom selfie.

Another celebrity who received a ban was none other than Blake Lively. Lively shared that she received a one-year ban from “The Happiest Place on Earth” when she was 6-year-old. She and her brother attempted to sneak into the Park.

“This was all my brother’s fault. If you get a stamp when you leave the park, if you spray hairspray on it you can transfer it onto someone else’s hand,” Lively said. “In the parking lot, he went up to someone and said, ‘Hey, can we spray hairspray on your hand and we transferred it. They say, ‘Excuse me can you come with us?'” Lively said. “I’m like 6 years old and my brother says, ‘No matter what they say, do not confess. I will not admit that we did this.'”

There have been many other celebrities who, interestingly enough, have been banned or kicked out of Disneyland. Disney Dining covered an extensive list previously, which you can read here.
