For the first time in its 10-year history, Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is taking reservations. Bookings are open now for dates starting November 8.
Here’s what guests need to know.
The Basics
- What: Nomad Lounge now accepts advance reservations
- When: Reservations available for dates beginning November 8
- Where: Discovery Island, next to Tiffins Restaurant
- Walk-ups: Still available, along with a waitlist
Why This Matters
Nomad Lounge has been a fan favorite for years, but it has always been walk-up only. On busy days, that often meant long waits or no seats at all.
Now guests can:
- Book a time in advance
- Plan their park day around a set reservation
- Skip the stress of wondering if a table is open
Walk-Ups Will Likely Be Harder
Walk-up seating and the waitlist are sticking around. But with reservations now available, walk-up spots will probably be more limited.
Tip: If Nomad Lounge is a must-do, book ahead.
About Nomad Lounge
Disney describes the lounge as a place that “invites all to stake a claim in their own wanderlust over mouth-watering small plates and a large selection of beer, wine and mixed drinks.”
Hours (as of October 28): 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Admission: Valid park admission required. A theme park reservation may also be needed depending on ticket type.
The Menu
The food draws inspiration from around the world, featuring:
- Bold flavors
- Aromatic spices
- Globally influenced comfort bites
Drinks include:
- Specialty cocktails
- Beer
- Wine
- Non-alcoholic cocktails
- Freshly ground coffee
- Loose leaf teas
All menu items are subject to change.
The Tag Chandelier
Nomad Lounge has a fun interactive detail:
- Banners in the lounge ask questions about travel and discovery
- Cast Members hand out decorative tags
- Guests write their answers
- The tags are hung on a “tag chandelier” above the bar
Annual Passholder Deal
Disney is offering a $49 food-and-drink deal for Annual Passholders at Nomad Lounge through December 18, 2026.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations come with Disney’s standard dining policies:
- A per-person fee is charged if you don’t show up
- A fee applies if you don’t cancel according to the policy
- A fee also applies if you don’t modify according to the policy and later cancel
Details are listed when you book and in your confirmation email.
Booking Tips
- Reserve early. Popular times may fill fast.
- Include everyone. Disney recommends reservations cover all guests, regardless of age.
- Plan an afternoon break. It’s a great spot to escape the heat.
- Check hours. They can change.
Final Thoughts
